Over the past few of weeks I've had a persistent "sore" on the inside of my nose. Doesn't bleed or anything, but its like a non healing scab on the bottom of the cartilage.
Could this be as a result of vaping? I've been vaping for around 10 weeks so thought my body would have got used to it by now.

Doubt it.
Just coincidence I'm thinking......but if you are exhaling through your nose then you are keeping it moist.......which is probably slowing the healing process.
Breathe the vape out of your mouth for a few days.

Could this be as a result of vaping? I've been vaping for around 10 weeks so thought my body would have got used to it by now. Why would it be the result of vaping? There is nothing in e-liquid or the resulting exhaled vapour that would cause sores in just one place and not others such as your mouth. Posts like this remind us that vapers are still unsure of the effects of vaping and i welcome the paper that sorts it out once and for all. If you didn't vape, what would you assume had caused the sore on the inside of your nose?

cause it might be the only lifestyle change the op has made and has never had a issue like that before until they started using e cigs

The list goes on. My point was that it reminds us that some vapers still do not completely trust e-cigs. After all he wouldn't have thought that smoking had caused his condition even though it contains thousands more toxic and caustic chemicals.

Seemed like a fairly reasonable question from a novice vaper and a simple No might have sufficed.

Thanks to those with constructive comments. As it's well understood that giving up smoking can cause gum bleeding I just thought it may be similar / related.

Seemed like a fairly reasonable question from a novice vaper and a simple No might have sufficed. It might have done but i thought that i might expand a little offer an insight into why OP was asking the question in the first place. There was no animosity aimed at OP, only the thought that not all bodily issues that occur after starting vaping could be attributed to vaping and the fact that OP has asked the question shows that people still don't trust that vaping doesn't have other side effects. Thanks to those with constructive comments. As it's well understood that giving up smoking can cause gum bleeding I just thought it may be similar / related. I can only assume that your comment is aimed at me and would you have thought better of a single rude sounding NO? Here's the abridged answer:No! Vaping has not caused this and it is more likely to be caused from; a spot, or an inflamed hair follicle. Happy Vaping.

It's totally possible it's a 'quit zit'. These things can appear anywhere, and while not directly caused by vaping they are caused by stopping smoking. Hope that helps pipeman01

Here's my pennysworth, honestly no Im pretty sure vaping isn't the cause of you're problem. There can be a transisition period from switching off the cigs, I'll also add that we as a vaping community will all stand and say, vaping is MUCH safer/better than smoking, BUT none of us really knows how much safer as yet. We ARE the trailblazers and its US and our experiences that will help the future generations of vapers have a better understanding of ANY health issues. I for one firmly believe that vaping IS 100% safer than any other nicotine delivery system. And yes I'll stand besides anyone who has the same mindset
