Best Idea Ive seen in a while is to dremmel a groove down the length of the center post of the atomizer.
When I get round to it I think I will try just filing a flat down 1 side of the post then just saw a slot in the bottom shouldered part.
Same goal different journey.

imho your better off buying a bottom fed rda such as the zenith V2.5 or chalice 3 (only 2 i can remember atm ). But there are a few others. Both the zenith V2.5 and the chalice3 have been cloned and can be bought off the usual Chinese sites at bargain basement prices..

Drilling thru or notching a stainless steel bottom pin will be HARD WORK, other metals such as brass and even copper are used for some 510 +ve screw connectors Both would be very dodgy to use with acidic juice brass as it could leach out lead which is highly toxic, and copper could form a toxic verdigris which would be equally nasty to vape.

** perhaps a sticky with a list of all the available bottom feeding rda's and where to source them might be a good idea??
