deesigner, Thank you so much for your offer but, Omg!!! Where do I start with re-coiling it? And how much wire would I need? And where would I buy the stuff for the wicks? So many questions and my head is starting to spin

Probably the wick and coil are gunged up with carbonised flavourants from juice. Rinse out under the tap then flick out most of the water. Dry the outside and contacts then attach to battery. Give it a dry burn. Basically hold the switch down for 10 second bursts, then stop for five. Looking down inside, you start to see stuff burning off. Keep going until you see the coil glowing red.
This can take quite a while.
Once it glows red straight away after activating, it is as clean as it is going to get.
Fill with juice, and allow the wick to soak it up. It should get back to something approaching its former glory after a few minutes use.

I'd rinse again after the dry burn to get rid of any ash/carbon.

Rewicked two of these today using 0.16 wire,it is thinner than what is in the stardust but seems to vape well. Not sure of the ohms my meter seems to be rubbish.
The first one i did a few days ago i took to work and put on a proper meter that came out as 3.2 so i have kept to the same length. For the wicking i am using 3 pieces of 1mm wick wrapped with four coils of wire.

Not sure of the ohms my meter seems to be rubbish.. If you just touch the contacts together you can measure the offset error. Mine is 0.5 ohms (cheapo meter), but if you subtract that from the measured reading it comes pretty close eg measure 3.7, subtract the 0.5 offset gives 3.2 ohm.

Shake the stardust then just fill and go, after a few drags it should be fine.

Ok, I did everything as instructed The first few drags tasted awful, then after that, a vast improvement and I got around 6 drags with flavour and very little burnt taste Then it started muting the flavour again and now it's pretty much gone back to the way it was before I cleaned it My tongue is raw from the burning taste

Hi Stitch
Yes, I'm making sure the wick is kept saturated. I keep lying it down then picking it up, swishing it around and trying it again.
I'll keep at it and see how it goes.
