hi all - I have one of those kanger aero tanks ( along side my many protanks ) - the normal size - same size as the protank - it's a dual coil tank - could I put a single coil into it - or would that cause problems I don't want to faff with making a dual coil thanks

I use an aerotank with single coils however you will need to use the little blue or black spacer that comes with one of jonco's microcoils or try using 2 of the silicone spacers one as normal and the other upside down on top of it or else the tank will empty its entire contents all over your mod I lost 2 full tanks of juice before I realised I was using protank coils in the aerotank lol

I rebuild my dual coils with just a single microcoil. Just fluff your cotton wick a bit more.
If you use a single coil old style then you use two silicon toppers to fit

When I rebuild the dual coils in my aerotanks I just do a single coil and put an extra piece of cotton on top of the coil to fill the gap. Wicks perfectly and never had a leak

You won't get this problem with your Kayfun Clivia

You can always used the aerotank base with the protank .ermm...tank. It will fit and you can use single coils without additional washers.

p.s. I have actually never moved on from using aerotanks. Have tried a few larger rebuildables but found my nemesis with aerotanks and stopped striving for better.

I still use either my protank 3 or my aerotank daily for work. They are so reliable and with rebuilt heads the flavour is pretty good too.

I rebuild in exactly the same way as drunkenbum described on the aerotank dual coil heads. If you want to use the original protank heads just invert another chimney silicone and put it on the chimney, Seels like a goodun!
