Good thinking! I got a 99p official blackberry case that perfectly fits my billet box and its got a metal protective inner and mouthpiece fits through side - like it was made to measure. Pepperty - you should have a new name on your avatar - bargain woman! LOL

The little bags airlines give out to business class passengers containing travel kits are ideal for what you describe. Do you know anyone who flies "posh"? If so, ask them to save one for you...

ive given up on google, ebay, amazon for searching as its never ending and i just cant find anything decent enough to buy. im after a bag for my batteries istick30 and 50 enough room for four-five 25ml bottles and 3 tanks mini nautilus, subtank mini and the ONE sub tank. i dont want it too big but something that has compartments for the various bits and bobs and elasticated holders to keep them all in place. would also be good if it was liquid and fire proof if there is such a thing with all the scares about things happening on planes. i will run the batteries down low before i travel and have all the tanks empty as dont want any leaking under pressure. any thoughts from the experts. thanks. You might want to check that out, as I heard that batteries are more unstable low than fully charged. 40% charge is the ideal state for flight I was told. I don't know if any of this is correct, but worth checking. Ripshod and VapingBad know this stuff I think thats interesting, thanks. i know laptop batteries are best kept at 40% when not in use but ive never heard of lower being more risky than 40% Or just chuck em in The plastic bag thing at the airport, then back in your pocket. You're going to want a vape on the plane. I fly short haul around 10 to 15 times a year, hand luggage only. Two mods, two tanks and a dripper. Pockets mate, all you need. no chance. i get stopped and searched every time as metal hip and pins in foot so having mods in pocket is never a good idea for me think ill use a patch for the 10 hour flight. that looks quite good but not sure if it would be big enough for 2 batteries 3 tanks and 4 large bottles. For a few days travel I don't think you need to worry about the voltage, temperature, carrying so they can't short on anything and protection from knocks are more important. I might drain ones that were going in the cargo hold to 40% as it can get cold, but don't think it's a bid deal. I have not looked into this, these views are just my impression so don't take them as gospel. new aviation warning out last week that no batteries can go in the hold and have to be in hand luggage. The little bags airlines give out to business class passengers containing travel kits are ideal for what you describe. Do you know anyone who flies "posh"? If so, ask them to save one for you... i did check up on posh price but they wanted $3000 each each way so they can swivvel on that one. ill go cattle class. that looks almost perfect so will add to the list to check out. thanks for all the advice everyone. much appreciated.

MrDJI was thinking more that if you have the batteries too low and then they self discharge after getting too hot or too cold it may give you probs charging later, but a only a very tiny chance of this with healthy batteries.

You don't have the mods in your pocket going through security if they have fixed batteries. You put them in the tray. If not, either in the tray with the batteries inside, or in your pocket if they are separate. There's nothing illegal about them, no more than a mobile phone. Nobody discharges their batteries before a flight, no matter what they are in. I've flown over 40 times in the last 5 years, nobody gives them a second glance these days.Or the juice. If you want a dinky bag though, buy one. But you don't "need" one.

sorry came out wrong. i meant to say pointless carrying a battery in my pocket once through customs as i wont be using one on a plane no matter how much i want too. last time i was on a plane it was a zippo and packet of cigs in my pocket so im only covering every angle if bottles leak and so on. they will all go in my hand luggage with my very expensive video camera,my phone, various chargers and cables so it would be a good idea for a bag so as they are not just lose in my carry on bag. thanks anyways. i will just get a cheapo bag then.
