From that thread the main issue still seems to be with a kanthal build. I'm guessing if you regularly vape at higher wattages this would be less noticeable??

Yea guess so.... I'm not a high wattage vapor so canceled... Look in the recall section too, looks likes this mod is not getting good press...!

Not got one, never seen one just passing on the info I have read here mate.

Yea guess so.... I'm not a high wattage vapor so canceled... Look in the recall section too, looks likes this mod is not getting good press...!

It's what I'm hearing on other forums too so I think I'll hold off for now. Maybe V2 will be out shortly or sigelie will come out with a TC mod

This is what I'm thinking. I vape at various watts on different mods/atty's/juices, so wouldn't be too bothered if this one is only good for high watts. Drippers maybe.

Having watched the video linked, my main concern would be the ability of the batteries to run safely at 0.2 ohms. Time to tag VapingBad and Ripshod mibees for their better informed understanding of battery performance and safety. Thankfully, I don't much like this mod but IF there is a potential issue then folks deserve to know.

This mod is really turning into a collection of lies and issues. If (as i suspect) it does not perform balance charging then it is a device that should be avoided or make sure you have good house and personal insurance.

tim if tc isnt a must have feature and a clock is an attractive feature grab a smock m80 xpro when in the locked off mode hitting the fire button brings up the date and time..

must admit the most interesting feature of this mod to me is the application of titanium coils for TC (if it works)

its one of the ugliest TC mods after the heatvape moulded plastic jobs if u ask me tho..

Apparently balance charging is integrated to the battery board. Phil Busardo has promised a video on this devise soon so it'll be interesting to see what he comes up with.

I decided to buy one after seeing reviews of it on Vaper Trails TV Dave Dorn hifistud has owned one for a few weeks and absolutely raves about it.

OK there are reviews, but how long have the reviewers have the device?

Also when you fit a new coil believe the MOD goes through a calibration process which needs to be saved, did the reviewers do this step?

Its a nice feature as i dont always want a phone with me when out n about and stopped wearing a watch years ago it can come in handy especially as the clock in the car keeps its own time no matter how often i reset it.. dosent quite make up for the temp control total fail tho (the smock m80 pro temp control fail that is..)

I agree but not for the rrp of £84.99 i have seen it around the £69 mark and it is worth a punt at that, just about, at the rrp it's SnoWolf money and i dont need to say anything else

I was talking about that the other day @ GreyHaze some reviewers are getting very early versions and only using devices for a few hours before uploading a review, but this is why we have to watch a few reviews of the same device to get a broader spectrum on what we are buying

You need a balancer for series batteries even more than parallel IMO and would avoid any mod using series batteries that didn't have individual cell monitoring, in parallel they will all be at the same voltage all the time.
