My first SX350 Build

Chips here and it fits, just.
Was a bit worried as Id built the box off the chip dimensions and didnt have 1 in me hand to check as I built the box.
Debating whether to keep the usb and put a hole in for it.
Might be able to fit it in but it will be at the side just behind the screen.

Just waiting on the perspex for the screen arriving now.

I like watching a mod being created from the ground up so to speak. You'll get more satisfaction from the build and pleasure in use than just assembling a printed plastic box with no soul.

Good job phtumshk you should be very proud of your creation.

Light the fires, kick the tires, put a battery in & it only flipin works.
In my haste/over exuberance to get it all together though Ive manged to wreck the paint job as it hadnt cured properly.
Will need a rub down and respray.
But on a plus note I did manage to keep the usb so I can also charge on  the go after all.
The gravity shifting and the odd number of clicks to lock/enter menus etc will take some getting used to .
But I like it.

Cheers igual but Ive striped it all down so I can get the mangled paint off.
Im leaving it to cure properly this time  before I get to grips with it lol.

Finally got this finished with a small deviation to the brief.
Cut a long story short got bored waiting for the paint to dry so stuck my SX350 in a project box.
Which left me with a gaping hole where the board should be.
Being a bit skint decided to butcher my SX300 and stick the board in this build.
Will upgrade it to the 350 board when budget allows.
Any way its a lovely little mod and feels great in the hand .
