Goal is to make a tiny sx350 in a custom case. To keep the size down Im ditchin the usb (no need for updates stock 60W will be enough) so want easy battery change overs. Will be making the case from acrylic sheet and resins and finishing with a matt black rattle can paint job. The story so far. Battery tube and top plate to give rough ideas of overall size next to a cloupor. To be continued.

Ran out of clear acrylic sheet. But found a small sheet of white nylon. May need to redo the top piece in the same stuff if it glues ok with the epoxy. Will have full length smoked perspex to cover the chip/screen. will cover the rear with a skim of resin/glass fiber mix and blend it all in. To be continued.

will be watching with interest.. nice use of the copper tube to isolate the control circuitry a leaky atty may kill the battery but not the mod.. Istick and other mod manufacturers could learn from you.

Battery cap. Not bad for a bit of 15mm plumbing fitting and an old penny. (Who'd've thought pennys arent made of pure copper anymore.) Any way it works and the threads are like butter. Thatll be like crunchy peanut butter lol. Debating whether to slot it or leave it with just 2 holes. To be continued.

Little copper plate that will be the Neg battery terminal and a bracket that will hold the smoked perspex front in position. To be continued.
