I can't help thinking it doesn't really matter what tobacco companies do or don't do with e-cigs, as bottom line they will make the most expensive product for the least cost by hook or by crook.
All the time non-tobacco e-cig companies can beat the dinosaurs on price and product, tobacco will lag behind. It's a shame for the countless millions of e-cigs user who just walk into a shop, hand over their money and don't even ask.

Yesterday, I even read a post (elsewhere) where somebody said "I'm sick of giving money to tobacco, so I bought a Blu."

If the e-cig community can't reach out via the internet to educate people, then tobacco might win regardless of the TPD and all that.

yes, a casual friend of mine on facebook asked me about e-cig as she knew I vaped and was finding that it wasn't working so well for her .....and expensive when I asked she'd bought the vype pen

I'm afraid that the tobacco companies are succeeding with the uninformed general public but unless they discover the underbelly of online vape groups like ourselves its difficult to gain knowledge and there's only so much each and every one of us can do
