I wasn't impressed either. Ordered a dripper and some ceramic tweezers end of last month. Took 6 days before I got the dispatch email and I'm still waiting for the order to arrive.
I've had 'normal' orders to me quicker.
That said I don't mind, I was excited for a faster shipping option from FT but am happy to just go back to old shipping and have items arrive when they arrive.

Again I am afraid your missing the point with the EPacket service, if FT delay the shipping how can the E Packet service be blamed? E Pkt are the delivery agent, ie their service only starts once FT have given them the parcel for delivery, therefore your complaints are really with FT. Cherrs

Cherrs I'm afraid you didn't read my post properly. As I said, once it was shipped it has been slower than standard post has been in the past to get to me. And that's not FT'S fault is it. That's the delivery agent, epacket's fault.

Im quite impressed, every order using epacket has taken about a week to get to me so far, not sure what would have changed for your orders to be delayed

And I'm not blaming the delivery agent either, but if FT are promoting this (and charging) for an express delivery they should at least get THEIR side of it sorted.
Had a reply/apology today from them
Sounds like stocktake time

No pain lee It's not as if I'm desperate for any of it, its just that for once everything was in stock so I thought I'd try the e-packet out, I normally dont bother and it arrives 2-3 weeks later, no big deal, but most people say the e-packet is wonderful, well not for me it isn't.

There has been an issue at Langley, I had one sitting there for a week, but my point is that FT sat on this for 2 days AFTER their long weekend and only despatched it after I raised a ticket

I never pay postage from FT, don't see the point. Often the postage is more than the cost of the goods lol. Most stuff I'm impatient with but yeh, for some reason I've come to accept FT use bicycles for delivering and I have to feel some sort of pity for the little man with short legs pedalling away. Lot of bumps on the ocean floor don't ya know

And again, the E-packet is only for the postage and doesn't entitle you to skip the packing queue, it just means that when handed over to the courier it should be a lot faster than normal. For me it has been, from shipping to receipt an average of 7 days when it used to be about 14. From a previous moan of yours in another topic you resented the workers having holidays and not staying on to clear up any backlog.

I dont resent ANYONE having holidays sydsut (although the Chinese seem to get more than their fair share ) I just presumed that if we are willing to pay extra for shipping we SHOULD get a little bit of preferential treatment

My last order was 22 days from shipping until it landed through the door with e packet shipping. So it didn't really work for me either Q. Placed an order on Monday, shipping confirmation e mail today and have tried the e packet method again. So we'll see what happens this time, if it takes another 22 days they can stick their e packet up the dragons arse and I'll pop in an extra couple of drip tips for the postage money.
