Hi,
Has anyone else experienced leakage from the tank. I have a juice leak coming through the air holes. I have cleaned the tank and put it back together but still get the same leak appear. I have checked the o ring on the atomizer and this seems ok.
Any comments appreciated.
Thanks
Andy

Are you using the stock coils or the rebuildable head? If it's the rebuildable, it sounds like you have too little cotton or the cotton isn't reaching the bottom of the base.

I haven't got the new tank from the subox kit but have the nano and plus and they have both leaked at times normally when the occ coils were on their way out, and if with the rba on the plus it would leak if there's not quite enough wick or not kept upright..

I know its dependant upon setup and usage but how long would you expect the OCC head to last then ?

hi Andy is this the subtank mini atty thats leaking? is it when first filled with a new dry wick or occ? if so it could just be due to the wick not being 100% saturated with juice before some passed by.. just sit the atty in a cupped tissue in your hand and blow the excess juice in the vape/air route out thru the open air vents in the bottom, wrapping in tissue once dried off will indicate where any leak is comming from, if the seals replace them, but if out through the air in vents check your wick, lots of utubes on those
My a lot got said while i typed that, must have nodded off.. ..

Also does the coil have the o ring pushed up all the way, or is it damaged I'd imagine this could cause it too leak as well?

From the info booklet, I have the 0.5ohm OCC head installed and i think its leaking from the small o ring and the juice enters the air space void where the air hole chamber is

This would all depend on usage, personally I hate the Occ coils as they would only last me 3 days maybe 4 days if I was lucky but its hard too say as the ones you've got are new and are vertical, I'd hope they tried too make them last longer.

What I would do amd is saturate the wick before putting in the tank from the two side holes until they stop absorbing the liquid (you may find it easier to get a cap that the coil would fit in, put it upside down and fill with liquid until just over the two wick holes on the sides and leave for ten minutes) then put it in the tank and start sucking (1second on 1 off a few times do this untill air bubbles stop comimg from the wick holes) without firing the mod this will make sure the wick is completely saturated, then vape as normal:)

unless its deformed from the factory or unless the coil has been removed and replaced a number of times, i cant see the oring that seals a coil assembly to the atomiser base being the leak, but i have been wrong before.. a spent coil could leak or a new coil not saturated with juice could let some juice flood the air in hole into the vape chamber and leak out the bottom too. but once a new wick is saturated with juice it should act as a dam stopping any juice flooding out. by all means replace the oring if you can, you might want to try ptfe tape,to seal the thread its heatproof, foodsafe, and is virtually inert
