will more VG make liquid sweeter ?
I always vape 70 PG 30 VG . got a ready made and it so sweet but its 40 PG 60 VG
was wondering if more percentage of VG causes sweetness or not ?

Higher VG will probably increase the sweetness slightly, but they may also have added a sweetner to the mix.

just wondered generally as was thinking of upping my VG slightly maybe 60 PG . 40 VG

no problems at all to increase you VG % , personally i don't think you will feel the difference on sweetness from 70/30 to 60/40. Vapor will be a bit more dense and a bit more soft for your lungs .

Whilst I agree that upping the percentage of VG will make the juice sweeter, it doesn't make the difference that you are experiencing. I would guess that there is some sweetener added to that juice

YMMV but I don't like any VG in my liquid mainly due to sweetness, but the fog lingers for longer and don't like the taste much either, but we are all different.

in many cases, in most of the VG bases you can find in the market, VG is much more sweeter than the PG...At least that's what you "feel"... I do not think that the majority of the vapers, have such strong taste buds so they can distinguish minor changes in VG/PG ratio...

Having a mix of 50/50, and a mix of 70/30 (VG/PG), most of the vapers will find the second one being sweeter, mainly because that the first one is too sharp and the second one is smoother and not because it's sweeter... it's just that the brain "translate" the smoother as sweeter, and the sharper as bitter, especially if your taste buds are not quite sensitive and not well trained...

But having a mix of 70/30 (VG/PG) and a mix of 80/20 (VG/PG), I guess only a 2-3% of the vapers will notice any difference... unless your taste buds are that strong and sensitive...

For whoever is in mood of practicing, just make a batch of 50/50 and add quite a bit of freshly prepared Ethyl Maltol; and also make a batch of 80/20 (VG/PG) with no sweetener at all and give them a try... there's a chance to find the 50/50 batch more sweet than the 80/20 one...

I may be particularly non sweet toothed as I only use 0.25% Ethyl Maltol in 100% PG anything stronger and it get too sweet for me.

I usually add 8/9 drops of sweetener per tank!!

to be honest never noticed only PG or Water i use is in the Concentrates or the 1% of total mix is vodka lol rest is all VG]Nic to],downside gunks coils a lot quicker
