If I was going to buy something then it would be storage related. My eldest step daughter has taken my flight box that I was using to keep spare vaping gear in. She used it for a school presentation she done on forensic science, she was so pleased that all her stuff fitted in that she has kinda forgot to give it back.

Very well said Storm! So, my resolve lasted all of an evening . . . . and I've bought: New multi channel charger. Some more Easy/Koko liquid. GG wick & a new GGTS Octal Draw Lid. And, some replacement slats for a vertical blind. Just as well I'm being good really.

I love that, a good spending spree without moving off the settee.

Mr Ignoramus here again..what is 'the kick" also, how easy to re do the carts with replacing the innards...is is really cost effective? The kick is an add on device that regulates the wattage output of an e-cig, typically for a mechanical big battery e-cig. You set the wattage and whatever resistance carto or atomiser you attach it will run at that wattage. If you know a bit about electricity if you change resistance you change the wattage, the Kick works out what it needs to output to keep the wattage the same. Most variable voltage ecigs like the Lavatube regulate the Voltage and the wattage changes dependent on the resistance of the carto/atty and you have to manually change the voltage to get the same vaping experience on different carto/attys. I'm not sure what you mean about changing the innards of a carto? If you mean the Stardust then yes it is worth re-wicking as it costs pennies to rewick/coil rather than pay £5 for a new one.

Thanks for the explanation... sounds like i should be happy sticking with the riva for a while before trying to get anything as serious sounding as that.... may well return to that when curiosity sets in. surely its only £5 for a box of 5 carto's anyway? confused by what you mean about £5 for a new one... any link to a thread on how to re-wick? Cheers Des

The Stardust is a tank-cartomiser that solves a lot of problems with cartos (and has some of it's own) they are £5 each but should last a month or 2 before needing to be binned, but you can put in a new coil or wick yourself if you have a modicum of DIY skills so making it last much longer. This extends the life indefinately so that £5 device could last for a year or more.
Here's a video of how to do it:

I'm going to be well under my monthly vaping budget, since I bought 150ml of dekang in the Group Buy last month and getting a puff diddy + 4 cartos (January), 4 x stardusts (last month) and a Imist in January I actually feel I don't need anything!
Woohoo!

I am now, most definitely, without a shadow of a doubt, absolutely on a spending ban! I will not be reading any more reviews, regardless of the amount of drool that may pass my lips and I won't look at the classifieds. I will delete all my favourite websites and remind myself on an hourly basis that I really do have all I will ever need for the foreseeable future! If at any time I feel myself reaching for my wallet I will grab my trainers instead and take myself for a long run, which will not only be an addition to my new, healthy lifestyle, but will also show that the gear I have has achieved great things already and I do not need to replace it just yet! Having said that - my new EVS would look great with my new LT which does require a new adaptor! Hmmmph!
