Used, Conversion - Gourd Calabash. 18350 battery, manual top button, fitted vape fuse, 510 connector in a 19mm shank.

Complete with the original converted amber mouthpiece.

Lovely work as always, how did you find working with the mearschum?
Have a calabash here but not plucked up the courage yet as I need to boar the hole slightly bigger in the stone.

Meerschaum (as you probably know) is like a soft stone and can be brittle if worked to hard.

So, hand tools only - like a Dremel, slowly, with small sanding drums, shaping bits, etc.

Yep that's was what I had gleemed from the tinterweb, found a lovely forum of pipemakers and some of them had worked with it.

Have the flexishaft on dremel which will help as well I reckon.
Just got to finish current pipe first lol.
Awaiting return of me drill, daughter in law is decorating her flat atmo.

I only really work with 18650's though. I'm guessing that is way too big a battery for a pipe?

There are e-pipes that take 18650, but they are specifically made for that.  And there are those that are VV/VW, too.

I do mainly conversions are there are very few ex-tobacco pipes that will take an 18650.  

An 18500 is the largest I have managed.

Some of the Indian peace pipes and Bavarian,Austrian hunting pipes are huge and would easily take a 18650 but they would be as practical as a chocolate tea pot lol.
