Check mvapes out. Or elcheapo fasttech. Clones have their places same with authentic. End of the day yes I'd love a genuine rose v2 but no way I could justify over 100 notes for an Atty. Vv,vw boxes authentic all the way.

I use both, I can't afford silly money on a atty, but I will spend on a decent device vv/vw.
Most clones are identical to a authentic nowadays I won't spend more than £30ish on a tank unless I have to lol

I've only got two clone mods, the vapourflask and the B-Box and they are perfect as for RDAs everyone I've ever bought has been a clone (apart from a genuine royal hunter that got sent back as it was scratched to hell) I've found that all of them worked really well apart from the crappy threading on the posts ! Binned both my old faves the troll and the mutation V2 a few days ago. I tried to re-thread them but the metal was of such low quality it split ! . For the price they are still brilliant value for money, and I'd always recommend trying a clone first before investing in the real deal

Given the dangerously poor design of the fire mechanissm on Stingrays - I'd buy neither. I lost a far from cheap jacket on the auto firing mess. It was on fire when I got it off me.

That's a great point, wildpolecat I'd also suggest avoid that one, it's the same problem as the cherry bomb mod. I skipped that on 1st read my bad

I have no problems with clones some are even better than the genuine article. Case in point Vaporshark, i have a genuine one and 3 clones i prefer the clones.

If you're looking for a tube mech mod you wont get much better than this, the Penny from Focalecig, it has a recessed magnetic switch, looks nice and is REALLY nice quality

I bought this, and is one of my favourite tube mechs I've ever had : focalecig.com/Product/Vanilla-StyleMechanical-Mod-Set-19781 It really does work great. I also bought this : focalecig.com/Product/knightMechanical-ModBlack-18650--18386 It is pretty decent too. Nice fire button, decent enough looks too. I have then bought many a stingray clone, and they are ok, but the buttons are a bit crunchy. Look great, but not as smooth with the button unfortunately (I have SXK and Infinite clones, so meant to be amongh the better ones). I do have many Stingray clones though, as they do look so good. Probably one of the nicest switches I've come across on a clone was on this though : www.fasttech.com/p/1718002 It's basically a GP Paps clone. And the best thing about it is it is VERY cheap. I had the older model where they still had the GP engraving, but I guess this one is much the same. I'd have no hesitation in ordering another one, but then again, I do have enough mechs already. This is the first Mech I bought : www.fasttech.com/p/1448300 And is very nice also. If you are wanting to try out a mech, then you can't really go far wrong with Nemesis.

Clones are a mixed bag, but can be great value especially if you are willing to tinker a little. This nemesis is near perfect with the magnet upgrade and hits like a beast. this stingray is almost as good, although the magnets need upgrading in order to avoid unlocked autofire. this caravela has been a champ with my custom made spring upgrade... will NEVER autofire unless stupidly abused This turtleship is good to go out of the box, but doesn't hit as hard as the others. When it comes to regulatd mods, I have a hard time trusting clones. Genuine ones can be dodgy enough. I can remember my wife taking a puff on a sigeli 100W with a 0.5 ohm build dripper...the sigeli read it as 1.9 ohms and WTF...... not only really unpleasant but dangerous (treating a 0.5 ohm coil as a 1.9 ohm means the mod fires WAAAAAY to much power at it drying out wicks in an instant and going far over the stated watts limit and also stressing batteries.) The build proved stable on mechs, a smowell and various DMM tests so can only blame the sigeli for a regulation fart. Put simply...clone yer mechs and attys, stay genuine for regulated mods. Some manufacturers such as Youdee sell cheaply enough that cloning isn't much of a financial winner for the user, compared to the originals quality, but other manufacturers (such as Viscous Ant - the do make the best gear in the market and are responsible for so many innovations) charge astronomical prices for their wares, and cloners can undercut them massively.
