I have a no original tube mods or drippers and apart from the Subtank plus all my tanks are clones and I find them all excellent. The Nemesis clone, Fasttech Nemesis with upgraded magnets in the switch is excellent and would be my first choice.

Given the dangerously poor design of the fire mechanissm on Stingrays - I'd buy neither. I lost a far from cheap jacket on the auto firing mess. It was on fire when I got it off me. User error you mean, they're just regular mech mods with regular mech switches. Any of them can auto fire when you put them down if you don't test first. Anyhoo hcigar for nemesis, vapetech for pegasus, infinite for stingray, surfrider for XXIX, can't remember which brand of turtleship V2 but it's a really good mod, that's my main all day mod with the kfl+ on top.

Only clones I have are my Nemesises Nemesuses Nemesi. Again from FT but I chose these. They're good enough for me to have 4 now. Obviously upgrade the switch to magnets, multiple battery options, and they look well smart in real life. Pretty hard to unlock accidentaly in your pocket too.

Have a look at the Celt from www.vapetornado.comReally well made mech at a sensible price. The switch is a tad stiff to start with but once worn in is a treat. I have the 18500 ss version and highly recommend it. Just for the record I have no connection to the company; simply a very happy customer.

I would look no further than Fasttech for a Mod clone. They give a better description than anywhere else and they have plenty of reviews and product discussion. I think it madness to pay extra to buy one in the UK. I have few qualms about clones but I wouldn't buy a clone os a hand made atty eg one of Rocket Scientists nor of UD because they brought down the cost of rebuildables. AGA S, AGT and IGO before they came out I vaped all my juices on one DID Gemini.

Nothing wrong with a good clone. just bought 4 for half the price of 1 genuine and 3 are great one not so. Of course a genuine is going to have had a lot more time spent on it making it perfect in every way, but you can still choose an atty that is just not what you are looking for. If you dont mind the odd 'burr' on a cut juice channel or the stiffness of a freshly cut thread, Then a clone is the cheap way of finding the ideal atty for you. Applies to mechs as well. the pics can tell a story if you know what to look for. Look at the switch and adjustable top pin, ask yourself if its insulated enough to prevent shorting. Also the actual finish can tell you how much time was spent on it after all the thread cutting was done. They tend to do a pretty thorough job when copying these, even copying the bits that aren't so great from the genuine(like 510 not being quite the right size).
