hi all any ideas what the post office charge to send 1 bottle of 10ml also 1 bottle 30ml....only to my thinking when swapping juices by the time youve sent a bottle you may as well have bought one from internet ? any one confirm this ? was wondering because im struggling with juices and need to try more but it gets expensive buying ones you dont like so would it be better to buy/swap like 5mls at a time any views on this ? i only did it once and then ended swapping 40ml of good juice(t juice) for what was supposed to be 28ml of another when it got here there was only about 15ml in it has he hadnt packed properly..im sure it cost me bout 3.40 to send as well...so wasn't worth the effort ,espeacily when they guy said he wanted to do more swaps and hed look after in them....needless to say when he asked next time he still wanted more of mine in return for his .......some looking after. probably just unlucky that time wrong person to deal with ...but has put me off the swapping idea.....thats why i thought of asking around for anyone who mixes or has ones the dont like to pass them on to me with me paying for the juice and postage.....but would that be more than just buying 10mls at a time of the net ? bloody hell that turned into along thread sorry about that once i started typing didnt look up lol....any way over to you and thx for your views..it is as always much appreciated
cheers russ

If the bottle is a little too fat, you can expect a shock. When a package fits through the special "scientifically accurate" slot, you can do it for 95p or something. However, If your envelope is 0.76mm too thick and you packed the bottle in a wafer-thin plastic baggy, then expect to pay 3 times as much. I don't post e-liquid any more, as every time I say it fits, and they say "it doesn't fall through".... which is the official measure of an envelope's ability to fit through a slot. I call it a load of old rowlocks.

Post used to be so much simpler. I had some stamps that I had bought ages ago, They all ha d 1st on them but I had got them before these post size changes came in. Sent a member here some vanilin powder so I poped it into an small envelope that i garbed out of a box of Xmas cards put a stamp on and dropped into the post box. They want 13p off him before they would deliver saying the envelope was not letter size(I thought it was smaller than a standard letter myself). Now I have to go in post Office every time i want to post something....There's convenience for you if ever i saw it.

To be honest the price of posting has become ridiculous. I don't trust sending anything non signed for and I've had too much trouble with my Hermes that I won't buy anything g if it's being sent with them. If it's something small I tend to send it from the work post but anything else I begrudgingly pay the post offices prices. Even signed for if it gets lost chances are all you would get as compensation is a book of stamps

Sure everybody already knows this Signed for ie recorded delivery travels with the ordinary first and second class post You are only paying for a signature upon delivery max comp £50.00
Special delivery is tracked througout its journey Max Compensation is £500.00 unless you pay more for consequential loss
Now that royal mail is privatised its only going to get more expensive

It's only recently affected Me, these expensive postal charges; sent a member his steeped pipe baccy:- 3x (crap!) HoL 10ml bottles in padded envelope. 'Oh Good,' Methinks, 'it fits thru' My letterbox, = a letter'...WRONG! didn't fit the P.O's special 'Template-of-letterbox-of-a size-that-no-front-door-in-the-country-actually-has'....= £2.80 2nd class!! It's a shame 'cos I was happy to steep a concentrate from baccy for anyone here who wanted to send Me some, on a 50-50 basis...but when You factor in the postage, for both parties, it's cheaper to just buy leaf or pipe baccy samples! Also makes You realise just HOW cheap Chinese stuff is, with the free postage factored into the cost.......
