Maybe someone just had a 'light-bulb' moment and actually used the internet to get a price on one of these?

It went for £46.00 plus £3.99 P&P which is the exact same price as a new one with free P&P.

Doesn't make sense to me.

That's actually £12 more than I paid for mine new. And a few sites have it for under £40 with free p&p.

I think some just assume because it's on eBay and second hand it must be cheap.

Just a quick search on ebay and they would get it cheaper and in a couple of days. Search on google and get it even cheaper and faster. A crazy and expensive way to go about things just to assume anything.

There's nowt stranger than folk.

One of my friends used to think exactly that. Her mum still does and won't listen to anything else.

She's often shows off 'bargains' she got on eBay only to ignore points about it actually being cheaper brand new elsewhere.

I think before eBay basically became a shop there were many bargains to be had.
