I've been watching a used Smok Xpro 80 plus on an Ebay auction link go well above the price for a brand new one link (with free postage) also on Ebay. What are the bidders doing. Are they too thick to look for Buy It Now sales or search the online sites for much better deals as we all know the bloody thing doesn't even work properly. Some crazy people out there.

If you ignore the tc side of things its a brilliant mod, ive never used tc so cant comment on that but as a 80 watt mod its great for the price but some people are too lazy to look sometimes lol

bloody hell My sentiments exactly. I knew a girl who sold gym equipment.. (no, this is real, not made up.... honestly). (and she didn't seem to 'test' gym equipment, either!!) When she advertised stuff on ebay that was the current models, she could never a good price on auction sites. Once it became obsolete (i.e. Google came up with old/out of stock links) suddenly she could make above the RRP because people didn't know how much it was supposed to be, as they got confused because it wasn't on sale anywhere anymore. The fact that the last know prices were £300, say, didn't stop people bidding £400. You would have thought folk might have worked out the internet by now. Mostly, I think these are fake bids.. got to be.

I might just put my two on EBay if they are going to fetch those prices.

Looking at the bid history & then the bid history details of each of the bidders, they don't look like fake bids to me.

I think ppl get caught up tryin to win the auction sometimes and it can go beyond the bin price they might also have lol, can get pretty crazy on ebay at times! would b good if ebay just allowed ecigs, then ud get known shops selling things there at more reasonable prices and less risky returns policies, seems like a free for all at the moment heh

I'm an ebay addict and buy all my golf gear off it but have found it (almost) impossible to buy Vaping gear off it.
I review auctions after they end to see if they are relisted especially if the price goes very high and generally they aren't.
Fake bidding doesn't work either as you risk buying your own gear and incurring ebay' extortionate fees for no income, and the cancellation of a completed auction is a faff. In my opinion People are obviously seeing stuff in a B&M shop then going straight to eBay for a cheaper deal.
Eg MVP 3.0 Gearbest £30ish Local B&M £59.99 They go on eBay used or new for £35 - £45 Seems like a bargain vs bricks and mortar. Not everyone has the sense to use a forum for buying advice or better still the forum classies!

Yep, I could buy than from Puremist for £39.99 + Free delivery. Just checked the ebay listing, and currently bids at £50 + £3.99 delivery.

I had an old DNA30 zero with a crap Chinese chip, worked ok, mint condition. didn't really want to put it for sale here and if I did I would of asked about £20 quid for it...anyhow put it up on eBay, clearly stated it was a clone, stated it was overpowered ie 15 watts was more like 20watts.... Started auction for£15 ...sold for £56... Just put my provari up today to raise money for a new mod, no one wanted it here last time at £80....lets see.
