Nickel builds in res/non res rda?

So with a killer 705 and diver v1 coming my way this week i thought i would have a little look up but cant find any info.

With them both using res/non res wire for the coils and the non res section being nickel i wondered if you could just put a straight nickel build into these?

My first rebuildable was a Penelope which used nr/r/nr coils. I used nickel and silver wire with various ways of joining them. You can't miss out the nr bit of the coil. But - Fasttech do pre-made nr/r/nr coils now which I use in Protanks and they're great

Although I don't know the answer to your question, you can buy ready wires - which are what I've used in my GG Penelope/Odysseus.

I have seen people using straight kanthal in the killer so why the need for no res wire?

So is there a way to build this type of rda and use on a temp mod?

I did a trade perps. Wanted both those tanks since they came out so had to try and get them especially with all the extras.

It comes with a load of res/no res coils to get me going.

If you use all Ni it will behave like all Kanthal, the legs will heat, maybe silver for the nr wielded would be best, with temp limiting you need good connections so I doubt the twisting the wires together method would work well.
