FT put them up today to, but wont bother linking or making a thread as Focal are a few dollars cheaper.

BUT. on the owl this morning as felt like having some clouds in the lounge:-) Wifey dont like the reo, prefers her plastic owl. Arent you finding the bottle a bit hard in comparison? Thats my only gripe, but they are $0.65 form reosmods (excluding hefty shipping, so maybe we should do a groupbuy...say 6 bottles each type thing) (reason being: mix, stick into bottles..auto-steep......monday/tuesday/wednesday etc...then just screw in a new bottle everyday, like a pill box) haha

Can measure the voltage drop on it too then

just found out via another forum where someone could compare a reo bottle (genuine) and an owl bottle, and the reo bottle IS stiffer than the owl bottle. If so, then the clone stiffness may be 1:1....I still would like it softer (but perhaps that is just my own preference)

I'll be in for a group buy. Yes no cloud chasing atty, nice flavour though. My only gripes which I knew shorty after ordering is its limits to 14mm attys, the chalice Bascally...! and every now and then it locks while using, might only be me, the way I hold it, twisting with my thumb now and then when firing, assume the real deal is the same. Very happy with it though, one for now unless they do a LP can't be arsed with DIY on another... Wondering if I have in my vaping junk box an ego adaptor or something with an hole in it that could work?

I have been really impressed with mine, I cannot compare it to the original Reo as I have never used one, but combined with the little Chalice I am chuffed with it.
Fantastic for out and about being pretty small and built like a tank it's well worth the money.

my plan for oreo is going to be: take clone reo , hold to side of bench grinder...wait a small bit. finish up with a beer and some sandpaper. chalice is ok, but empties too quickly..prefer something 22mm. Plus, I can stick a chalice back on once oreo has been modded if that ever takes my fancy again.

It is designed like that on propose to use the minimum length wick for better flavour and heat up, it is what makes squonking a different vape from dripping, not that I'm an expert but that has been the conventional wisdom for years and why most built to squonk atties are small.

Yea get what your saying... Total newbie squonker here...looking at it as lazy dripping, which I'm all for...! ....think I got too much cotton in this build too. What you got very little just touching the deck?

Yes letsavit just touching the deck, but swapped to rayon as the cotton tails were a little close to each other and the liquid would form a blob between them and sometimes up to the coil. I would take a few vapes to clear this, I could have used a smaller diameter coil with the cotton to achieve the same thing.

One squonk, 1 puff, repeat..!

More like 3 puffs letsavit 0.84 ohm about 20 W on a fresh VTC4, but the point is flavour not convenience, well for for me anyway. Small wicks keep the liquid cleaner and should heat a tiny bit quicker, I assumed that it was common knowledge among long time vapers. I heard about it the fist time I was interested in squonking probably about 15-16 months ago and probably the 2nd or 3rd time squonking got popular in a small way, must be on the 5th or 6th time by now. IIRC is was an old youtube video by SuperXDrifter on the Reo, he has tonnes of squonking videos up is credited with being the first to post about mico-coils (before anyone starts no he doesn't claim to have been the first to invent them, he was just the first to post them on the web).
