35W really nice wood mods on Focal £22-50 are TC!!

If it is in TC mode (nickel coil) is the resistance reading on the mod near to what you would expect smarties ?

I've only used it with a kanthal coil in a subtank mini so far robby it's showing watts and 000 degrees Fahrenheit on the display, the resistance is what I would expect it to be.

Right got into temp adjustment and it scrolls from 200 f - 600f but if you leave it at 200 f it switches temp control off and displays watts and volts, unfortunately still very little power even at 35watts, it doesn't seem to make any difference what I set it at it vapes like about 4 - 6 watts ??

Oh no talking kak as usual, power and up changes from volts to watts, power and down changes watts/volts to temp control.

On the bright side got an istick tc today and that is really nice

Any one else got theirs yet as I'm still having trouble with mine, I've compared it to a 40w istick and with this mod set at 35w it vapes like the istick set at 6w, just wondered if there was something I hadn't figured out.

have u checked all the solder points and mechanical electrical contacts, sounds like a dodgy connection, otherwise the battery should last a week, as your not using the power at the coil point..

Still waiting for mine too, in UK so hopefully Saturday or Monday. Hope the fault is just a one off( smarties ) but not looking good at the moment.

Just received mine, couple of minor niggles to start with:
1st - bit of sticky protective plastic with blue pull tab on the screen cover - when I pulled it the screen cover came away as well - pushed it back in and seems okay
2nd - no instructions - 5 clicks on/off, Fire & Up switches between Volts & Watts, Fire & Down allows you to set the Temp, Up & Down locks the mod

Not sure TP works properly - I tried a Subtank Mini with Ni-200 OCC coil which is on my VS DNA40 @ 420°F - on the Penny I had to ramp it up to 500°F to even get it to vape, and the TP was cutting in.

Apart from that it is very small, about the same size as an 18650 dual battery box, and not bad for a normal 35w mod - but doubt it will get used with Nickel builds.
I haven't opened it up as none of the allen keys I have to hand fit, and my others are packed away at the moment until after all my windows get replaced on Thursday.

Have you bought it jeffmarteen? You should maybe hold off, not looking like a good mod so far ............................. weeell, it looks like a good mod, but not performing too good on TC at the moment
