By this time next week, I'll be vaping (at home) with a mini Sigelei and a mini Subtank. After that, I'm only down-grading. This is the end of the line for me... things are getting too big and too silly. I shall also try the Lemo Drop, Kayfuns, Taifuns, Orchids, Tobh, Plume....

The subox has a new improved version of the subtank which you can't get on its own Improved in what way ? I guess that's subjective Its got a better RBA deck with bigger juice channels mainly, if you google "kanger subox review" you can see a review with the differences.

Ah yes you are right... Oh well I ordered the subox kit now and it was £49.99 so the mod part only cost ~£20 more than that tank on its own including delivery. Maybe I will sell the mod part and get a sigelei mini if I don't like it. But the sigelei looks a bit square and is only 30w... Meh I will probably just keep the kanger mod and possibly try and paint the buttons black!

I just received one of the new white Mini's from Ash link and it blows the original Mini out of the water ... a lot of differences, which mean you can take it up to 50w easily [let juice warm up though, or will start to get a slight burnt taste] ... ceramic coating, very good insulation in the base, using the rba is a doddle, and wick it as this vid shows ( link) and you can get to 50w. Also, new plastic drip tip (you get a pair, black and white, with the white Mini) which make vaping at 50w effortless. And the flavour is amazing. I've tried the Goblin and Goliath and an rda; this at least equals them flavour-wise, if not better. Not even a drop leaks. I'm now looking at all my other tanks and going 'meh', lol. (never tried Lemo tanks). Bear in mind I literally got this a few hours ago. Do have to make sure wick it right, not too much wick, and train it to the 2 holes. I'm still fine tuning, as the original subtank I found worked best/no leaks with a lot of wick. I wasn't sure about buying the full Subox kit, incase the ceramic on the mod flakes, and I think it has a fixed 510 pin? But, in the vid, you'll see Les is happy with his kit, as many are. (I got a CF Maxx instead, lol, as I won't be carrying it around, plus the Mini tanks look amazing on the Sigelei 150w and mvp3). Hoping there's no flaking from the tank. Sigelei are very well made indeed; I'm sure if you want to sell the mod part of the Subox kit, there'll be plenty of buyers. (CF Maxx goes up to 50w, if you're wanting a giant tube mod for home, lol. Cloudstix are the best price I found, great to deal with. link Plus can add the charger in easily. Only thing to adapt to is there's no screen display.) If you do decide to keep the mod part of the Subox kit, maybe acrylic paint is best, plus a coat of artist's varnish after a couple of layers of acrylic. I used acrylic paint and the varnish with arts/crafts, and always looks really clean and bright, plus hard wearing. Might be best solution for the buttons. EDIT: after playing around with the new tank a bit more, it's still a learning curve about wicking. So far, if I wick it so the 2 rba holes are fully blocked, there's no leaking out of the airholes, but I can't go over 30w without dry hits. A work in progress, lol.

Thanks, yeh I received it today and I am very happy with the tank and the mod, looks really nice. Just waiting to get some decent liquids through as something in my DIY stuff has made all my DIY liquids taste bad, either the PG, VG or nicotine I am not sure but ever since I got a new batch of PG and nicotine all my liquids taste disgusting.
I think I will just stick with the subox kit as it looks nice, on pictures it looks big and the buttons look a bit cheap, but the actual thing is tiny and the buttons look nice, you even get little red stickers to stick to the batteries so the kanger cut out bit is red as well... Overall very pleased... really nice bit of kit...
That sigelei 75w temp control looks nice but I don't see the point as even go over 30w tastes burnt to me using 0.5ohm, I guess thats what the temperature control does... but then vaping at a lower wattage is basically the same thing unless I am missing something here!
Anyway yes, very nice mod indeed and I would recommend it. It looks nicer in real life.

Cool! Glad you like it so much, and know what you mean about the higher watts/burnt, lol. Most important is to enjoy a good vape, whatever the watts etc. Richer flavour on the new mini is amazing; just need to make sure the wick is spot on if want to take it higher/bit richer flavour. Not sure what's gone wrong with the DIY liquids, but sure someone far more knowledgeable than me'll be along. In the meantime, can definitely recommend myvaper juices ... jam toast, creme brulee, hazelnut latte, are amazing, plus dripdropvapour do some great flavours eg cookie dough, lemon cheesecake.

Just a note, so far I'm finding that using lots of wick (as it is, not peeled) is best ... fill every 'corner' of the base. So far no leaking, and can go up to 50w and chain vape without a concern.
EDIT: I've switched out the rba base to a new old version one, as just got sick of the dribbles. Wick packed into every part of the base = no leaks. The ceramic, and the plastic drip tip, make it a great step forward, but the new rba base, for me, is too leaky (however I wicked it).
