Only one fine from all you're life driving.... almost every other month for me, double yellows, turned into a bus lane too quick, no u turns, stopping on yellow crosses things, cameras everywhere in London, almost just work expense/tax for me. First mistake, if you see them don't let them photo the ticket on the car with the reg, let them print it stick it, then grab it and drive off, time they print another you're long gone. When non payment fine comes through say you never received a ticket and ask for evidence is was issued, they haven't got it.

Am still a pissy guy over it but I'm sure I'll soon get the grrrrr out . Sounds horrible driving where you live mate. That would do my nut in

@tedster
To be fair I take the pish a bit but even so some are unavoidable, one bus lane ticket was to move out the way for an ambulance " no record of that sir" had to pay...other yellow cross hatch at a junction in rush hour that if you don't pull forwards your never get across across the lights because of the filter lane the other way, just go another way now. they just sit at camera doing people all day. Another like you got me on one wheel over a solid bus lane line, about 1ft early I pulled in to do a left. Park on double yellows to have a coffee etc as long as I'm not blocking anyone and can see the car, hence above just make sure they don't get a photo of the ticket on the car, if it's a male jobs worth it gets screwed up and thrown I thier face. Park in supermarkets, mc Donald's car parks all day and just throw them tickets in the bin, never pay private they never take you to court, just scaremongering letters. I would be surprised if someone who didn't know London could drive around for a week like an angel and not get a fine for something.

I'm sorry to hear of this @tedster , it is just pedantic and pointless. On the other hand I wish they'd bring back traffic wardens in Airdrie (they ditched them about 8-10 years ago). Every day filter lanes in the town centre are blocked by people parking all day on double yellow lines, bus stops are filled with cars and some people even park right on entrances/exits to roundabouts. It is hellish to be honest. They really should allow a bit of leeway for someone who is parked slightly out of position, but come down like a ton of bricks on those ass-biscuits who deliberately park illegally with no regard to others.
