Does it do the same thing if you put the battery in the other tube?

probably not, my sxk nebula works a treat so cant offer anything other than commiserations and a suggestion to open a support ticket.. after dealing with FT on a support issue, i would suggest you use very simple language and avoid humour and colloquialisms as neither will translate well.. i

One thing that may be worth a shot is to remove the batteries, press the fire button and put one battery in (any tube) and put the battery cap on (all the time keeping your fire button pressed). It works as a reset on the Kangxin flask. A lot of speculation that the same chipset is used in a lot of flasks

Will try all these suggestions! thanks, it seems to do the cycle thing with the battery in other tube, the only one that works is the one below the 510, but only if it isn't tightened all the way, the battery fit is very snug (length wise - VTC5's) will try some other batteries when i get home as well!

Tried the suggestions, nothing seems to help, I have to unscrew the battery cap below the 510 so it's protruding from the bottom of the mod to get it to fire. I'm thinking the battery is pushing/moving something in the 510 and stopping it firing?

Does it work okay if you use the other tube on it`s own? , obviously still not good enough, but at least you may be able to use it digiw0rx

Have you tried adjusting the positive contacts inside ? They may need a little tweak

I haven't cracked it open yet @tedster .. Update though, I unscrewed the atty and tried firing, it was asking new coil which is strange, with the battery cap unscrewed slightly and depressing the 510 with ceramic tweezers, not until the 510 bottoms out does it say "Check atomizer" otherwise it just either cycles, or asks if the coil is new... with no atomiser. tagging Ella to see if she can offer assistance.

Another update... Tried different batteries, no go.. Something is definitely shorted in the mod, it won't even stay on now, will need to email Ella I think

Ella I already emailed support and got a response this morning asking me to plug it in via USB... and adjust the pin on my tank, both nothing to do with the issues I had, I kind of knew what response I'd get so I went ahead and took it apart over the weekend and fixed the issues, but now there are other issues due to the construction of the mod, I expected more from SXK, but you know... I might strip it down again and take some pictures and do a written review.

It may be that the contact at the top of the battery tube is touching one of the the fire switch connections inside and the board is seeing the voltage as a fire signal. If it is like the Kinxing flask it has an isolation board to prevent reverse battery problems it would explain why the other battery is not causing the same problem.
