An enjoyable afternoon at work :)

It's OK I haven't gone mad !!! We had our fun day this afternoon and I did rather well as you can see below

Silly games like hook a duck, coconut shy, splat a rat and hoopla thingy to name but a few. Hooked 2 winning ducks and managed to hoop a can & bottle of cider I also came 2nd in the raffle winning £30 of vouchers

The hog roast was exceptional and they booked the ice cream van to stop by for an hour so a good afternoon was had by all, it's not a bad company to work for really

would you believe I still heard people complaining about the company ? we had a free hog roast, free ice cream van and you could have what ever what you wanted ! tie this in with the bowling trip earlier this year where they paid for the bowling/food/ 1 drink per person and transport there ... I really can't see why some poeple complain ? OK so wages aren't "fab" but then in the southwest not many people pay 'mega bucks'. I'm not beating the company drum here but I do think we are very lucky !! and we didn't have to take time off work to join we - we got paid to eat hog roast/ice cream and have fun this afternoon so not sure what some peoples problem is ?????? don't think we have any vacancies at the moment goneforagasper but will remember you if any come up lol

It was great .... soft white roll .. a ladle full of stuffing then a plate of of 'pig' you couldn't see the roll under the pork !! and then the guy asked if I wanted more ... I did however have a small spoon of apple sauce so that counts as one of my five-a-day so a healthy meal then !!!???

I used to do hog roasts many moons ago lol.
None of these cheating gas cooker ovens we roasted them old style over oak and apple wood, takes about 11 hours for a 120kilo pig give or take.
Glad you had a nice afternoon seems a rareity for companies to do things like this for staff these days.

I think so too which is why I find it hard listening to people complain about one thing or another ... I'm not beating the company drum here but I mean, come on ... they aint that bad if we get this ???

I was happy with my winnings, 3 lollipops, a can of strongbow, a bottle of magners, a can of coke (not pictured as I drank that!) and £30 worth of love2shopvouchers ... yes I do prefer rattlers but I am not gonna complain if I get a free can and bottle of cider !! but then I have one of them things some people call 'A LIFE' and I'm happy to get anything that I wasn't expecting ???
