Coolfire 4 help

Hi everyone, roughly how long does a coolfire 4 take to fully charge ? Mines around 7-8 hrs and makes no difference between "orange or red" Is that about right, just seems way too long IMO

I think for me it's about 3-4 hours.....something in that region.
I always turn it right off with the bottom switch, but I doubt that makes any difference.

Are you charging from a USB port or a mains adapter?

Sounds like you are charging form a 500 mA USB source like a laptop @tedster if baron can charge his that much quicker, try a 1 A phone charger. Also poor USB cables can reduce the rate. There is nothing wrong with lots of top up charges on these rather than waiting until it runs down it wont shorten the battery life.

Yep, I use the mains charger (with Myepack logo), and an Innokin USB cable for charging all my re-chargeable mods now.

I am rough guessing the time it takes to charge the Coolfire IV, depending on if it was really flat, or just turned red. I just plug it in and some hours later it's done.

Thanks guys. I'm charging via the supplied lead and a proper usb wall charger plug. I'll try a different lead just in case I have a duff one
