flavourtank Did you get yours yet? Just received mine, that label in the battery compartment looks the wrong way round, is yours the same?

The ones on FT are the other way round

Mine hasnt arrived but Id be tempted to take the cover off and check with the board if its visually accessible.
Wouldnt want to presume it does have reverse polarity protection.
That said if you hadnt pointed it out I would just put the batteries in as directed.

I would say it's the wrong way round.

Springs usually go to the neg on the batterys.........the nipples to the positive.

ETA - Of course....don't assume the label is wrong.

The assembly could be wrong and the springs have been fitted to the wrong end of the box.

I`ve messaged them. The ones on FT have not been without problems, but the label possibly the wrong way round wasn`t one of them. They have been discontinued on FT. I have had a look under the covers and even though there is a black wire connected to the top copper plate I am not convinced. There is a LOT of hotglue in there. Cant get at the board to see symbols etc. Might try later.

I only bought it for the board am going to gut mine so whats the board like robby ?
Im hoping its like an evolv layout and not like an I stick or Ill be gutted.

No switches on the actual board, just connection points. Looking at it, I dont think there is any way to get the board out without wrecking it. The bloody hotglue is all round the very delicate ribbon cable connecting the display.

That looks right.....more logical.

With both batteries the same way up makes more sense that the fire button would be where the batteries positives are.

The ribbon is in the middle of that hotglue  They have a black wire on the top plate, but I dont trust it.

The black wire does have a circuit through to the 510 ground so the label may be right.
