Having just spent a very frustrating hour or more trying to fix a new coil in my IGO-L RDA I'm reminded of why I don't use it as often as I would like - I really really struggle with wrapping the coil legs around the flipping posts! So I've decided to see if I can find a dripper that I can coil more easily - I have a feeling that one with the holes in the posts I can thread the legs through and screw down would hopefully be less of a problem but I have no idea what to get. My requirements are - preferably single coil but happy for a dual that can be set up with a single coil, £10 or less happy if its a fasttech clone, similar size deck to the IGO. I don't sub-ohm but might give it a go if I can recoil the thing easier, needs to be suitable for either an Istick 30w or MVP2 and it will primarily be used for juice sampling.
Can you suggest what I should be looking for?

slightly of tack but what about a aromanizer RTDA. Dripper with a tank. Double your budget though

The troll or the plume veil both vape well and are nice and easy to build. Flavour wise I prefer the plume veil but it can be a little bit leaky from the lower air holes

Nothing but love for my Magma clone off FT : www.fasttech.com/products/3028/10008103/2134701 It really is one of the most flavoursome vapes I have ever had. I cannot get enough of it. I have a second one sneakily hiding in my cart for my next order. Although I do think it might be a dual / quad coil only set-up? I am also a fan of the El Cabron clone. It can do single coils easy. Nice big deck to work on, decent airflow, massive post holes etc... I very much like mine : www.fasttech.com/p/2287201That being said, my current dripper in use the most is my Tobh with chuff cap. Grated, it is again a dual coil only (at least airflow wise), but it's a pretty nice vape. I must admit though, I am only using this as I stuck a Ni200 build in there before getting the previous mentioned couple RDA's, and have been quite enjoying this TC stuff despite it's monstrous appetite for juice. The one I have is discontinued now, but here is the next closest : www.fasttech.com/products/3028/10007863/2112301All well under a tenner.

I've heard great things about the Derringer. Not true done yet but there's a few clones on eBay for £10.
Supposed to be great for flavour. Tiny too.

I have a magma clone which I started using again recently and it gives a very nice flavoursome vape. Easy to set up as it has post holes and you can put a single or dual coil in there. One slight issue with it is that it has a very long 510 on it. May not sit flush on a regulated mod. It won't on my kbox. I'm using it on my stingray mech which has a floating pin in the top cap.

Definitely Derringer. Such a tiny wee thing but it packs a punch. The post holes have allen screws (and a key - no blue screwdriver here!) which grip the wire nice and tightly. The base is really easy to build coils on too. Edit : it takes dual or single coils, using it with a single nickel build atm (holds more juice that way!). You will be refilling it frequently though, a good idea is to pack the other side from the coil with wick and have the coil almost touching the airholes for great gobs of airflow.

fwiw i just received a velociy No sorry Zero clone from FT today it can be used as a B/F atty but as the juice exits the top of the +ve post it wont drain so could flood. to drip pulling the whole top off the deck may be best or wick over the +ve post top as drips will be focused by the splatter guard to the open Bf Feed in the +ve post so could easily drip down to the 510 if u drip thru the chuff cap..??
could be a mod killer if misused.. tho im sure all our members would spot that..

The derringer from FT is fantastic, really easy to build on, great flavour and any option you like for air flow from pretty tight to full on wode open cloud machine. 4 wire holes Then a ring with air holes, it's very handy for holding extra juice but can be removed for more air if needed. And it's tiny, 22mm but super short Love it on a hybrid mech, tiny Best bit is it cost less than a tenner

How experienced are you with RDAs? If you are just getting into them then the plume veil is a fantastic start. It allows airflow to suit lung inhales or mouth to lung and it's a doddle to set up in single or dual coil setups.
It can produce insane flavour and good vapour. It's a good starting point due to it's versatility, as it lets you find the setup and airflow you like then move on to a dripper more specialized in what you like.
Some may say it isn't the best for this or that, but as far as flavour and vapour are concerned it scored 9/10 in flavour and 8 or 9/10 in vapour. I would really recommend this s an ideal start.
Airflow can also be set for single or dual coils, and it can be further built into a quad coil if so desired. The posts are the the hole in post type with phillips head screws.
