Subox mini

Hey is anyone using other tanks with their subox mini at all ? I'm worried as the pin isn't spring loaded and I don't want to ruin it as I just got it

I tried two tanks with fixed pins on a friends subox, no connection sadly, you're gonna likely need either a tank with adjustable 510 or a dab hand at putting a drop of solder on the 510 of the tank, your mileage may vary with different tanks, not so bad if you have the tanks but be careful buying new stuff just for the subox, I'm not clued up on soldering to the mod pin

you wont ruin the mod if it cant make a good +VE contact on the centre pin the atty just wont register, so relax and try your attys on the mod, with a fixed centre pin its likely some may not work, but the only way to find out is try em

I, more worried about the longer pin on a couple of my kayfuns pushing the subox pin down if that makes sense ?

yes it does, just dont screw en on as tight as you can, if it means the atty floats a mm or so above the top of the mod thats no biggy really tho it might bug you..

You could always use an OCD spacer washer if that's the case. An easy mod to solve the problem. Expensive, but nicely polished. www.stealthvape.co.uk/22MM-OCD-ATTY-WASHER-SPACER

Failing all that buy a magma clone. The 510 is about two foot long

Just screw the tank on a little at a time pressing the fire button after each small step.
once it fires youll see how much room you have between tank and mod before you commit to screwing it fully in.

for atty's that dont engage with a fixed 510 central pin, u can take a file to an ego adaptor grind down the top by a few mm and when a 510 atty is screwed in it will sink a mm or so deeper and push out the adaptors +ve pin that much more to make a good contact with the mod. looks stoopid but works

Only non-Kanger tank i've tried thus far is the Anyvape Furytank - works fine

I also checked the subox mini and I found this

The Subox Mini includes a flush 510 Fixed Connector with four air channels. It would have been an added bonus to have made this a spring loaded connector instead. Update: Kanger have informed me that a Springloaded 510 Connector will now be included in future releases!"

Yep had 0 issues with lemo 2. It's a good match for the subox

Lemo 2, Aspire Triton and Velocity RDA all work fine as of course do all my subtank minis.
