I don't find any problem with the current set up, what's easier than just undoing the base and filling?

I've never had a 510 fail on a mod with the exception of an istick 20 and even then it wasn't the threads that failed. Top fill usually requires a needle nose bottle which is a faff and expense if you use lots of different flavours. The idea of top fill is good but the reality is less so IMO.

Yeah, has only been one of my istick 20's where the threads have failed. And no I don't like the idea of having to fill up via a needle nose bottle. Have just invested in some long tipped bottles which are ideal for filling my lemo drop with (bottom fill) so unless those type of bottles would be ok for filling a top fill subtank I would prefer to stick with the current setup.

I actually prefer the bottom fill.
I use subtann minis and just grip the base and twist the top off leaving the base of the tank on the mod so threads are not an issue.
Plus top fill means I have to empty the tank to get the the rba deck or change the coil. Which is a pain.

So do I, if they do switch to top fill I guess I wont be buying anymore Subtanks. Mind you I have 6 mini's and the big un, so no real need. they are still my go to tank when all else fails. Recoil, rewick and Boom! off you go.

FYI fastech already stock clone subtank top assemblies with a top fill option, www.fasttech.com/p/2804000 where u turn/unscrew the cap till the holes align (but are never in stock it seems) and others you remove/unscrew the cap completely to reveal the holes for filling.. www.fasttech.com/p/2699800
