Anyway I have a couple of litres of custard so I'll be patient. I'll make like a 50ml bottle of this to the recipe and leave it steep for 6 weeks. . That will last me 2 or 3 days so I'll get a good taste before I make my mind up. Gawd I hate the waiting  |

No harm in trying a few drops every week.
It will show you how it develops over timer and at which point you prefer it.

As mr kreed says try it once a week until your happy with it, we are all different some like it left for a week some a mth and some even 2 mths i have one mate who swears blind its best at 3 days old. So yes we may say it needs a mth YOU may not go with what YOU like. |

Don't know what's happened to my kk but it seems like the flavour is diminishing it was really nice after about 3 weeks but now it's nothing like it was probably find that KK goes through stages some depending on how much you have been sampling. I also thought it went a bit meh around 3 weeks, then I had a week or so of it being a touch cheesecakey. Around 3 months it tastes like vanilla flavoured golden syrup  |
