First dual coil EVEEEEEEEEEERRRRRRRR

Ere, oh knowledgeable people (and chrisjw) I've just done my ever first dual coil and it be working but when I chucked atty on a regulated, the watts went loopy! I've power locked it now to my desired setting but is this normal or just having a mad fit moment?
Watts went up and up and up. I literally was shouting at it to stop being an arse and behave!

Did you whack ready made coils in, or make them yourself & what ohmage (just made that word up) are they?............................absolutely bugger all to do with your query, but it's still a good question, although it's a question to your question, as opposed to an answer to your question................I'm that annoying bloke who asks "Why?" after every statement someone makes...............

Check your screws are snug as when you fire the coils they can loosen of a smidge causing ohmage jumping

& also ensure none of the wires are touching each other...............

I put cotton in first before screwing down coils. I'll try some other coils next time.

You're better off tightening the coils up first & giving them a few blasts on the fire button, before putting the cotton in..........

Will do it that way next time, thank you must admit, it did look a mess but you can't see it with cap on

Yes if the loops are touching, bit not so much if they aren't or are you just trying to push her to climb Everest again.
