E-grip..................

Thankfully I don't have an E-grip (more like E-gripe) although a lot of you seem to find them excellent. The manufactures need a kick up the a**e for this situation if you can't get the right bits in UK.

It actually sounds more complicated than it is to be honest. The part that myself & everybody else are trying (& have now succeeded) to buy is, in actual fact, the base that is already supplied with the E-grip OLED CL, which is what we've all bought. So basically, the bases that are winging their way to us, will be spares back-ups, which aren't essential, as it's the heads themselves which take the wear & tear.......& I've already got those.

I've tried putting the CL base with a CLR head into the original e-grip mod & it won't screw home fully.......That's with the silicone cap on.......

How far out is it? Does it still fire though?

You can get the bits all over europe but Joyetech arent stocking em in the UK but from what I can fathom totally wicked will be having them in the UK so they will be the sole uk distributors.
As chrisjw says were just trying to get a better head in them.

Without trying to fire it up, the base protrudes by at least 2mm.............

Hmmm, I think I could live with that if it fires.
I know if you try to force it in any more it will chop the silicone ring off.
OCD may eventually have me shaving some off that tube in the middle of the tank tho.
 
The lunch box is definitely interesting, 6ml tank, 2200mah battery the same size as an original hanna box and only $30 each if you buy 5.
Group buy any 1?lol.

chrisjw  Romney dave  @tazmania441 blakey The CLR bases have just turned up

Ive tried 1 in both my CS OLED and old type and they have gone in fairly flush.




If it aint going all the way in chrisjw you need to make sure the screw on cap for the atomizer head is screwed on fully home.
Some times they can catch a thread so you think there tight but if you rock it back and forth it will pass it


Ill start splitting them up ready to post,
Looks like there will be 2 silicone caps per base I have yet to count the O rings as the spares are all in 1 bag.
PM me your address' fellas and we can sort out the payments and stuff.

Just counted the Orings and theres 40 spares in a box of 5 heads so its 8 spare O rings per head if Ive done the math correctly?.

I've now got the CLR base and coil working fine in my old Egrip. The trickiest part I found was getting the silicone cap on the coil head which is a real fiddle to do. After some time failing with one of the caps I tried another one and finally got that on. Looking around, I see I was not the only one with this problem. See this from about 2mins in

Same here dave, ,lost count the number of times it pinged out my hand,Thought I would never get it on,but very happy with the Vape with the CLR Coils on the E-Grip.
