Fake Britain will be doing a bit about counterfeit ecig

If they had wanted to be useful they could have mentioned charging bags (not talking about the woman) , the laptop left on the floor on a carpet getting warmer than it needs to be, the battery on the carpet encouraging warm up and leaving the thing charging all night. Never been impressed by that programme

Talk about alarmist, that fire chief needs firing.
He's alarmed at 70 fires attributed to ecigs?
That's statistically nothing, London Fire Brigade has stats on their website reporting 3 fires a day related to cigarettes and smoking materials, that's over a thousand fires a year just in London alone.
The LFB would be ecstatic at just 70 fires a year.

Was kinda distracted by the kids while watchng but understood it was the claimed certification that was fake, not the gear itself. They attributed the gear to a well known manufacturer and I can't remember them saying that the gear was fake, only that the safety certification was.

They kept on mentioning a well known manufacturer but never mentioned any names. Not a lot of use then. Still the program was made over a year ago so totally out of date. Daft of the Beeb to repeat it really!
