Incidentally, the LT looks a bit like a stun baton, bit worried about being arrested walking round with what looks like a dangerous weapon I thought exactly the same thing (well I actually said it looked more like a bong) but would have almost the same reaction if Mr Policeman clocked me sitting in my car smoking it.... Still deciding whether to get a Riva for going out to stop such things or to just grin and bear it and accept my payout for police brutality Have fun with your LT, it appears I am 24 hours ahead of you on this Lava journey, got mine yesterday, I am quite lucky I had a load of empty SkyCig Cartomisers to fill up with the new juice that rrived today so have had a pleasurable afternoon testing them in different carts. The LT appears to be a fantastic weapon of choice for this new hobby If you're looking for a riva type battery for going out then meet my new friend www.vapeescape.co.uk/900mah-variable-voltage-battery-%26-pass-through~287 I keep this in the car with a vision stardust on it and I can unplug it and take it anywhere- they are superb

this has to be the dumbest question on the planet.
plugged charger in, both batteries, showing red light at bottom.... which was up do the batteries go in the charger, is the small ringed end the + end? if i switch them around the lights go green...
doesn't get much dumber than that?
or do they just take ages to charge... been like 2 hours now

Yes the "small ring end" is normally the positive and 18650 batteries can easily take 3 hours to fully charge in a Trustfire TR-001 which I guess is the charger you have? You could always use one before if is fully charged if you want to get started.

ok. firstly, apologies for causing a bit of an argument on another thread.... hoping to get some advice here though to help me get the best out of my lovely new toy
appears pretty well made and sturdy.. the wife was horrified when she saw it though!!!
So, first thing i did, using a couple of youtube vids for assistance filled up my DCT tank with HS Delight 24mg.. kinda strong but i'm still into that tobacco hit/taste so thought i'd give it a go... voltage between 4.0 to 4.7 at the moment, any thoughts on that combo??? ( pretty noisy crackle when using the tank though, guess that is normal?)
any reason to use the ludicrously long clear drip tip or fine to swap out for one of my shorter chrome ones?
several other questions coming shortly, but also trying to catch up on Nigel Slater episodes at the same time..

Sounds like you're getting on great with it Try the other drip tip, there aren't any hard and fast rules! I like to hear a bit crackle, sound of a good carto Don't let your wife have a shot of it, she may be less horrified then and you'll not get it back

she is happy with the SD keyring although needs plastic drip tip as she has a nickel allergy and the chrome tip blistered her lips up... she is happily using it in the pub now!!
have swapped out for a long chrome tip, looks much better.. i'll be fiddling with the voltage meter all night i reckon..
should i be turning it on/off whenever its resting or is the idle power drain pretty minimal??

Well, I only realised that you could turn it off 2 days ago :-[
I thought it was compulsory to keep it in your mouth vaping until the battery ran out?
I only turn mine off when going to bed/going out, previous to this i was taking the battery out, lol :-[

right, first serious question. 15% discount at the store i bought the LT from, so even though i am absolutely 100% not spending another penny on anything for a while, what do i need to buy..?
firstly, are the panasonic batteries worth buying as upgrades, are they better performance in general, longer charge life or more recharges/drop in performance than the standard batteries?

Saying this I have had the same battery in there for about two days now, not turned off and been vaping away and it's still fine so either I'm not vaping enough or these batteries are ok!
