Well that's about it, oh my Kanger RBA Deck broke but because sellers won't deliver to a different address that's become another issue.
Due to the impending restrictive regulations brought about because of pressure from the pharma and tobacco industry, I wonder if the new contraband to fill our holiday suitcases will be vaping items/juice hmmm

I get all my hardware from fasttech (due to customs charging me a fortune last time I ordered from masquevapor in Spain) fasttech will deliver anywhere in the world, just add your new Spanish address on your account. Takes a little while longer than anything coming from the UK but at least there's no postage costs if you spend 20 dollars or more, so get yourself a few other bits & pieces at the same time. Alternatively, you could just get another RBA deck from masquevapor.com. You'd have it within a week!!

Yeah I can see that happening too - vaping gear + juice in suitcases from the UK to Spain, or at least to Tenerife. I don't think Spain will be affected too much coz the government has stated that vaping gear + juice can be sold in pharmacias and tabacs (state governed licensed tobacco shops). We don't have any tabacs on the island and all the pharmacias I've spoken to say they will not be stocking anything vape related So yeah, suitcases of vape gear probably would be most welcome over here pretty soon now (once the transition period has finished).

Hi Toots, I was already in touch with masquevapor you gave me the heads up on that one before but they can't help, so I will take a look at fasttech see how that one develops. Main problem is most vendors will only post to the address held by paypal or my UK address and it's not worth me going through the process to keep changing those.

Ha yes a double whammy at the  black market trading post, import vape gear and export sleeves of B&H, I've just had a tip the tobac in Denia has a good range of vape gear so will take a trip up there one day as well. I think the main incentive to give up smoking in Spain doesn't exist. Whereas in the UK cigs are £10 a pack, here in Spain smoking is still a relatively cheap habit. E-cigs and vape gear is a dying fad and many shops have come and gone, although it's looking the same is happening in the UK due to the cost of the need to meet new regs/restrictions

I always use UK vendors for all my concentrates and often have the orders sent to various different friends addresses in the UK who I know will be making a trip over here in the near future, I don't have any problems using their addresses even though my Paypal address is registered here in Tenerife. I know where you're coming from as regards that some vendors will not send out internationally though. What you could do is get stuff sent to friends or family in the UK and then get them to send it to you in Spain. I've also had to do that in the past occasionally as well.

Now with Fasttech they will send out to any address you nominate in your address list. I had a birthday present sent to my little Grandson in the UK direct from Fasttech (electronic car, not vaping gear haha).

Cigarettes in Tenerife are even cheaper than they are in Spain!!!! We don't have the tax on them that Spain has, I think a pack of 20 Lambert & Butler is now around the 2.40/2.50 euro mark, so there is definitely no incentive over here to give them up for financial reasons, just health reasons.

Hi Toots, Placed the order with Fasttech who as you said will deliver to any address so order being shipped here to Spain. Got 7 RBA's coming 2 genuine 5 non gen and got a replacement glass for the tank just for the spares box, cost worked out at £17 altogether so well happy.Then I had to quickly close the window before I went on a spending spree

I reckon the first month is the hardest. Every day is just that little easier than the one before.

Make no mistake: after three years, I still occasionally think of the smokes. I doubt I'll ever forget 'em. Just keep hitting your vape gizmo of choice.

There will be "times"! Oh, I remember many times I was so tempted. I found a supportive spouse, understanding friends and community (like this forum full of folk who understand exactly what you are going through) to be just what I needed to get me through.

Good luck to you and keep with it, it is so worth while.

Hello manonabus.

First off, well done on taking the steps to kick the tobacco! I smoked for around 11 years myself, and am so glad I turned to vaping a few years ago.

You have a pretty solid set up coming for you, so all is good there. I do advise if you get the chance to get a cheap back up mod though, just incase yours does break, so you have a way to vape still.

I also started mixing very early on into vaping. I did start with tobacco flavours, but quickly moved on to other flavours as I realised they were nicer. If the tobacco flavours help you quit though, that is the main thing. I would get nicotine now while you can, as I imagine places will sell out soon due to the TPD being implemented and the 6 month period to sell off stocks of nicotine.

I haven't been at this forum very long myself, but everyone seems very helpful and friendly. I wish you all the best in quitting

Hi #manonabus, I hope you're vape journey will get easier with time. My wife always vaped tobacco flavored e-juice - Hangsen's Golden Tree, and never felt the need to change over to anything more exotic, despite me telling her of the joys of all the fruity concoctions I had created. I myself was a smoker for 40+ years, and unfortunately did not discover vaping until I'd already succumbed to COPD, which now restricts my life in more ways than I ever imagined. I don't find vaping has any noticeable effects thankfully, and it allows me to cope with daily life, plus there's this great community which offers loads of support whenever it's needed. I wishh you well!

Hi laslofienstein, The fear of COPD was my biggest motivation to do something because I was also starting to experience shortness of breath. This was particularly bad first thing in the morning. Now it's not so bad. When I first started vaping full on I was experiencing coughing more so than ever, and bring up lots of fluid, but this has now subsided especially the coughing and makes vaping more of a pleasure.
Sorry to hear about your condition and giving up smoking from what I have read will not reverse the disease, but all being well we should at least be able to draw a few more years of pension when that time comes.
