I've recently got a Kabuki tank. A selling point is that it's made from surgical grade stainless steel whereas the Nautilus Mini has a chromed brass chimney section.
The chromed brass is a slight concern to me and Nautilus heads appear to be chromed brass. When I drill the holes on the older style it looks like brass to me.
Would it be possible to turn a stainless steel head for the Nautilus? The internal sleeve would not be necessary. I would be putting a 2mm micro coil in the head. I'm thinking of just 2 wicking holes but I'm getting ahead of myself as I don't know if it can be done yet.
I'm after some opinions before approaching a local precision engineering company.
