Imokin Itaste VTR or alternative??

So I am going to be in the market for an Ecig come payday ................ sooooo far away! - and I was thinking with going for a BoxMod type. Anyone had experience with this ?

What is it like to use daily etc? Any other alternatives? I am not going to be using crazy mods so I do not need 10000000W of power

I'd stay away from the VTR for the following reasons:

1) It's old kit.
2) The ring that holds the tanks is only 19mm so hardly any modern tanks will fit without filing off the ring.
3) It's underpowered compared to other cheaper devices on the market now.
4) It can't fire any sub-tanks.

There are plenty of box mods around the 30W level that would suit you better than the VTR.

VT - Is this just a new Gimick like VW? Or is it actually usefull? I love the look of the black / yellow one.

VT is Variable Temperature which is the same as TC - Temperature Control.

I think this kit is good value because you get the device plus a pretty good tank which sells elsewhere fro around £20, you can use it like a ordinary mod just varying the power or use it in TC (VT) mode and have a try. Plus you get a couple of coils for the tank a charger lead and a silicone sleeve.
Nice big 5000 mAh battery that will easily last a day.

The Vendor is UK based and has speedy service, he updated me by text when I placed the order.

I highly recommend the VTR

It's vintage now but I love it...though does way a bit but that has it uses

But if the sun gets any brighter you'll need a leather wrap from - Silly Nilly on Etsy

And an airflow controller from VE Jason

I love my VTR too - just seems right to me. Use mine with Aerotanks v2s all the time.

if you want the same style there isnt much out there(caged apparently) phtumshk has already mentioned the 2 regulated ones or there are a cupple of mech mods like the gizmo ect but tbh a normal box mod is prob best
one of the lads at work has the evic and its a nice mod but its a built in batt and i like being able to carry spare batts

just remember to get high drain batts to use in these mods as the batts you have for the vtr might not be up to it

So I ended up going down the CoolFire IV made by Inkonen. Love it so far! Managed to find some juice that was close to the cigar one I use to use by VaperTrails, now using one called Havana Libre, tastes amazing!

What are the sub tanks like? I think visually they look really nice but I was wondering about the practical use? Or should I stick with my Aero Tank?

Depends if you're doing mouth to lung or direct lung inhales. I couldn't get a decent MTL on the Subtank even with the airflow closed down as far as it would go. If you do MTL you're better off with the Aerotank

Ok cool, not really thought about vaping style before but I enjoy MTL. It's nice to get a taste before Inhaling back.
