Steathvape have obviously researched Titanium and gathered these facts together but must have had a change of heart about supplying it. I bought some there myself today (they should change that last line).
It really is worth reading. I have seen the wire burning myself and it would put you in mind of a burning fuse so you really WOULD NOT want to be vaping on it without temperature control, you cant blow it out, once it starts burning it will carry on till there isnt any left and you dont want any of that in your lungs.
I`m sure Stealthvape wont mind me repeating this info here.

Something that should be mentioned is the grade of Ti wire is very important and looking at the wire in those images it is low grade, you can easily tell because it isn't shiny. I agree that even grade 1 Ti shouldn't be used on anything other than a temp mod because over heating will cause some nasties to be produced. Personally I haven't experienced any kind of fire using Ti even extremely overheating it only caused my coil to pop in a similar fashion to kanthal

It`s all good info guys, experience with this stuff is what we need. Just got some this morning, so bleedin springy Which brand did you get? I'm using 0.4mm crazy wire and I don't find it too bad at all, 7 wraps on a 2.4mm former gives me about 0.3 ohms. A few words of advise, give the wire a good clean with an alcohol wipe as there's usually a build up of carbon on the wire, obviously don't over heat the wire, the wire will go from shiny silver to blue to yellow then to a dull whitish grey. It's fine to vape when silver, blue or yellow. When it goes gray the oxide will be released more easily. On a continuation of the over heating theme, I wouldn't advise to dry burn your coils for the reasons above.

I have just stuck with Ni200, never had any trouble doing builds like others have, and would certainly not want to take the risk some unscrupulous vendor decides to buy some dodgy Ti .
What is good that I have noticed over the last few months is the great advice and info being put out by vendors in the UK when they come across something that could be harmful to those that don't understand or in some cases not interested in understanding ( FB) springs to mind lol
