I've been taking my ten year old great nephew on days out during the school holidays, got to do something with my retirement, and I've been vaping all the time in the car but then his parents smoke around him all the time so I'm not too worried. Dave

I vaped in front of school friend's children when I first met on holibobs. next day 6 year old stares at me wanting a go (I told them it was my 'steam machine') - 6 year old did not get a go - I walked off at that point - ma took her away. I felt really bad after for vaping in front of them but I was miles away (stressed and walking down by the Ouse) TBH I was more concerned about the kids at YHA york seeing so many adults out on the veranda getting piddled and going back for pint after pint than the few of us vaping and smoking. We had to vape outside. The only rain free place was under the trees. YHA York have a nice little money earner going with their ice cream (ben & jerry's) machine Happy days

I vape around my little one who is 5 now, i have no issues with it. Have friends that do not vape or smoke and are fine with us vaping round their kids.
My little one always has questions which i welcome and will always answer them for him. We just never have any juice out or at a height he can reach.
Whenever i get a new mod or atty he always notices and asks about it.

If there are people who would rather not be in the same room as the cloud of vapor, or dont like the smell, then I would go outside or in a room that I could close the door when I had finished until it cleared. Its not everyone's 'cup of tea', but it is safer than walking down the road.

I don't generally enjoy vaping with kids about, nor would I feal comfortable vaping in the likes of a shopping centre , Cinema, Restaurants etc. What I do object to is any form of control outside ! And an excellent example is Hospital grounds, these so called health care professionals should be embracing vaping! and not doing their damnedest to class it the same as Tobacco!

My general (90% + ) of the time is not to vape in folks faces. So this means no vaping at bus stops etc. Yes I may be legally allowed but it's courtesy We are not going to win any wars being rude!!! And this is as much about public perception as health. So if you have any concerns please ask nicely first

Seriously one of our grandchildren uses it as a positive when i'm vaping, it allows her to have a go at dad to stop smoking, she's 9 and been doing that for the last 2 years. Not worked though, despite buying him god knows how many mods that he mysteriously breaks or loses.

Personally I don't vape in front of the grandchildren indoors, just because of the fact that I'm in to sub-ohming now and the clouds are too much

A fair majority of children are going to kick back at authority. It has always been the case. As we become more liberal and accepting of others, the more radical the youngsters become. You only have to notice the rise of drug taking to notice this, it has always happened, but the drugs are now stronger and more lethal. It must be (is) far more healthy for a child to try vaping than cigarettes. When they tire of that, and want another source of illicit *high*(like many, not me of course ), they would be older, and less likely to move on to more dangerous things. In a sentence. It's good not to vape around youngsters as they will be more likely to try that, rather than analogues. But, sod 'em! I can't stand the little fekkers!

Personally I just choose not to vape in the house or in front of children , it's more habit then a safety thing.
The none smoking law for cars with passengers under 18 actually excludes ecigs which may mean something with regards to safety (?).
