I'm looking for a new mod, and quite like this but it's expensive www.vapegeek.co.uk/VT-40-box-mod-Hcigar-989.htmSo was wondering if anyone can help, find something else or the above a bit cheaper? I seem to be finding loads of lovely looking mods but most seem to have magnets to secure the battery whereas the one above doesn't. I see Greg the other week said this mod was good so that's why I have homed in on it. Thanks Pacer Edit.... Sorry should have said no wood as i'm a messy clumsy filler

It's a brilliant mod Pacer. Well worth the price. The build quality is superb and it performs very well. I was unsure with the price but after seeing one I was more than happy to pay it

www.elegantvapour.co.uk/ipv-mini-v2-70w.htmlIPV Mini 2 is a great little mod mate, no magnets just a screw on battery cap you can unscrew in a few seconds by hand, has a usb charge port too. Up to 70w of power, single 18650, no temp control i'm afraid but they're solidly built mods i have two of the buggers and they're one of the few mods i have continuously used since i got them. They're just reliable and dead simple, no fancy menus or features just power up, power down, five clicks of the fire button to switch on and off, about the only feature is the lock which is just hold the up and down button together. The only negative i have for these is the paint finish is a little delicate so i would advise getting a silicone sleeve or a vinyl wrap. I had a tank dump it's juice on one overnight, just wiped it off and it still works perfectly. vapormod.tictail.com/product/ipv-mini-3070-silicone-sleeve

Doesn't that have a magnetic door? I believe the OP has a pacemaker fitted and magnets interfere with it that's why they're looking for one that doesn't use magnets.

Another vote for the IPV Mini V2, if you're not worried about temp control Pacer. Just like Get Off My Cloud, it's one of only two of my many mods that is in daily use. You can pick them up from FT for less than £40 link in stock as well As far as I'm aware, the paint issues are on the black one - my silver one is fine

@pacer I have the Vt40 and it's a great little mod. What you after in specs Tc What power Single battery or dual etc etc Thanks for the help and links peep's most kind and very helpful... Not really interested in TC but if the mod comes with it so be it. I already have a Smart 20 + 2 Istick 20 both with broken pins and unusable now. So I'm now using 2 x Istick 30s but the batteries are not holding there charge, I can't afford to keep paying for mods with concealed batteries, so I thought a replaceable would be better. I like the idea & look of the VT 40 box mod - but at that price It would have to last me a long time. Edit I use a sub Nano & a sub Mini and usually set the Istick too 14 or 15w flavourtank

I've taken mine everyday since I got it, in the van for work, in the car it is a good mod, just depends if ur heavy handed and how you treat it lol
