I diy because its cheaper for me!but sometimes i buy in from one maker and it just makes me more determined to improve my diy juice! i did have a conversation with him and he told me his latest juice took him 14 weeks and he had tipped about £200 of juice down the sink before he was happy with it!

I've heard of Button Junkie.....but not Basement Junkie. Just shows I'm not keeping up with shop bought brands.

I get absolutely no enjoyment from mixing my own juice, the only juices I really mix are the ones I'm using for cloud chasing and that's only because it would work out insanely expensive when a cloud chasing attie will gobble a good 15ml easily in a few hours. If I enjoyed mixing them would have no issue making my own juice I buy in my mouth to lung juices and I get them mixed to my requirements so i get them exactly how I need them. I know I could make it all myself for a 1/4 of the cost but I just really can't be assed. But I will not judge anyone else for making all their own juice and I'm quite sure that a good deal of it is every bit as good as shop bought. Give me the ingredients and I could probably make my own Mars bar and it won't be far off the original but I can guarantee I'll be wandering off to the sweet shop to buy one ready made should I fancy one. Why people can't live and let live is beyond me.

The sole reason i diy is because i know exactly where i get my ingredients from, any risk that's associated with them, and mix to the flavour and nic strength i want, I certainly don't need some flash packaged, over hyped juice that likely cost less than a quid for 10ml, yet its selling for £6.
I have also noticed there's a lot of folk pushing their stuff through various forums (not here) with threads like,, Oh man you gotta try XXX its the dogs danglies, and like sheep within seconds there's a stampede on it, FB is classic for these kind of posts.
I would far rather trust my own stuff, than any of the so called "Premium" brands, 5 Pawns, and others are classic examples of how trustworthy some of these manufacturers are when it comes to $$ and what they are putting in their liquids.

Personally I don't even believe in the concept off premium liquid!! If you like it its great whether it costs 50p or £50, all most people want is a liquid to enjoy.
Don't even get me started on the stupid eulogistic descriptions of flavours and ingredients!

I Diy because I love creating new flavours, because I know how it's made, what's in it and cost. I do treat myself to a couple of juices from vendors each month. Some have been crap some nice, if I like it I'll make my version of it. Only one so called premium juice has really impressed me and that is fruit loop by toke juice. DIY is part of the fun for me as well.

One i did like which i got from a mate was Morning Munchies i think it was called, now that was very nice, i think it's another cereal based juice, with hints of citrus. so i may have to try a bit of experimenting and see if i can get something close.
