Hi All
Thank you for allowing me to join.
I have been trying to kick the stinkies for 8 months (been smoking for 40 years 30 of them on rollies) and still smoking
Started vaping on and off 8 months ago firstly with e- lites which to me where a waste of money and went in the bin after a week. 6 months ago bought a CE5 started kit from Cigees but I found it didn't give the throat hit or vapour I was craving so back on the stinkies I went, the e liquid also made me cough every time I used it so that put me off. I think the PG/VG ratio is 80/20
I have given myself I headache today reading up and searching for a decent variable volt/watt mod and e liquid. I'm hoping you guys can give me some advice on some decent brands out there.

I have supplied 7 friends with vaping gear this year. 3 had Evod/Ego batteries & RG200 tanks. All are still smoking. 4 had an iStick 30W & Nautilus Mini tanks. All are now non smokers.

Welcome too the forum. I'd go with a nautilus mini, as for mods would you like to be able too replace the battery? Personally I gave up using a aerotank mini, but from what I've heard the nautilus great.. As for coughing the vapour particles are a lot smaller than smoke so it gives more of a tickle too your throat, also if your vaping the same way as you would smoke you will probably cough, try taking a puff very slow and then longer and longer untill you feel comfortable

cruella666 welcome to the forum You will get lots of help and advice here, so just keep asking questions. The e-lites ciga-a-lites are really not great to be honest. Do you know what nicotine level you were using in the e-liquid you were buying? Others will come along and advise you on the best set up, I agree with smifee personally I think the isticks or innokin cool fire 4 will be a great place to start. and look for a decent tank. I have never used the Nautilus but hear they are good, I finally gave up using a Kanger pro tank 3. Nick

Hello cruella666 the above advice on hardware should fit your needs the iStick mod and Nautilus tank. As far as juice goes higher PG and higher nicotine will make the vape harsher so try a lower ratio of PG and go for the lowest nicotine strength that will keep you satisfied, the Nautilus tank will produce more vapour than the tanks you've been using so you may be able to get away with reducing the nicotine strength and still keep the cravings at bay. Try a 50/50 PG/VG or a 40/60 PG/VG ratio.

Totally agree. 30w Istick and Mini Nautilus. I've been vaping for over a year and haven't wanted a deathstick for over 8 months. Nautilus and Mini Nautilus are all I use 95% of the time.
Getting decent gear and liquid is the key. I started on cigalikes and egos, vaping during the day at work and all I could think about was getting home so I could have a fag. Since I got good quality clearos I've totally lost the desire to smoke.

Nautilus Mini tanks as starter get a thumbs up from me too. try a juice at 60vg/40pg should be a lot smoother, Don't forget the nic strength will have a affect on the harshness of the vape too. What nic strength are you using? 12mg was good for me when I quit, but we are all different. Good luck with your journey.

Thank you for your replies
Nicotine strength I'm using is 16mg and PG/VG 80/20
I have been reading up on innokin and istick and the nautilus mini so I have been on the right track then!
Yes I would like to replace the battery.

Regarding ejuice, try Tjuice. I find some juices can be really dry but never found this to be the case with tjuice Red Astaire is a favourite of many - www.t-juice.com/shop/red-astaire/the he great thing about TJuice is you can by the flavour concentrates and make your own juice very cheaply should you wish to go down that route at a later date

Really can't go wrong with the IStick family and Nautilus, Me I prefer the mini Nautilus, don't know why but I find the flavour better and they are so tiny that they fit most mods out without looking silly overhanging. Replaceable batteries well the Cloupor Mini is fab, a little chunkier and heavier than the Istick but still small enough to fit a pocket. Welcome to AAEC

Another +1 for the istick 30w with Nautilus mini. I am 2weeks into vaping only (after 15yrs of stinkies) and I'll be honest I've not looked back now I have this setup. Really impressed with the Nautilus, no leaks, great flavour and easy peasy to get going.
Best of luck for the rest of your journey, you'll get some great info and support here
