Same base in all sweet juices ??

Get an almost exact taste in sweet/dessert flavours. I taste the banana or ginger or whatever flavour it is. But also there's a consistent flavour that is in all of these juices.
Is their a standard base ingredient in all dessert concentrates/juices ?
Does anyone else get the same background taste?

This taste is enjoyable and sweet but also with possibly a hint of a metallic taste. Difficult to describe.
Although I've never tried pure nicotine so couldnt say if it's the same taste or not

Nicotine smells like sweet popcorn to me until it goes minging

Metallic taste could that be the atty itself?

Ok have 5 attys now. So I'm in middle.of cleaning them all out re wicking and then will use the same rubber tip on all to make sure it's not the drip tip. It's either the atties or juice let's find out.
Will also making a hot cuppa to "clean the palate" in between atty swaps ;p

it could also be the vg content of the juices, it's natually sweet....

I would go with it being the sweetness of VG.
The same VG That goes in a mix is sold by Boots the chemist and used as a children's throat medication. I have used it when I'm suffering from soar throat. Its very sweet tasting and slightly minty. (just dont stick a full 5ml spoon in your mouth).
