Can't believe how much I love this, slightly modified from a s.b original copy I found on the net but changed the makes. Wanted to share it to see how you custard lovers rated it as I'm fairly new to mixing but really getting obsessed with custards! Also if anyone's got a good recipe with flavorahs banana in please let me know, thanks.

Mixed this at 30/70 pg.vg

Fvh vanilla custard 10%
Cap cake batter 7%
Ccw cream 4%
Fw Bavarian cream 4%
Stevia 2 drops per 10ml

Nice recipe jacq

Here's an alternative which is very, very close.

Vanilla custard - FW: 7.5%
French vanilla - M&P: 3.3%
Caramel Original - TPA: 2.6%
Crème de caramel LORANN: 2% - (I swap this for CAP Caramel 2% as I don't use LORANN)
Dulce de leche - FW: 1%
Vanillin: 2 drops per 10ml

Awww,thanks Kreed. That def looks good to try as love caramel too! Haven't got vanillin yet, is it better that vanilla concentrates?

It's only 2 drops per 10 ml.......so probably ok to substitute.....CAP French Vanilla maybe?

Vanillin can be found here jacq, either in crystal/powder form to dilute yourself in PG or ready made:

Though I don't find it replaces a French Vanilla concentrate, more compliments and enhances the overall flavour for me.

Oops! Sorry Kreed, didn't mean to bother you at work!! I've got away with the rat race coz I'm too ill,off to bed again in a min. So much I need to do too, sucks. Just thought it sounded more economical to buy the powder at amazon like you kindly gave me the link for.

I add roughly a half teaspoon to 10ml PG jacq, I make the solution up in a measuring cup as it's easier for dissolving and saves trying to persuade the powder down the neck of a bottle!

Wait for it to dissolve, then syringe up into a bottle.
