I started at 24 mgs and then after 2 weeks started to ween myself down. 14 or so weeks in I'm now on 3mg. Got alot of frowns when ever I asked a shop or vendor for 24 mgs but it did the job for me and that's what matters

Hi! 18mg would usually be enough, especially with a variable power battery. The u20 is an Eleaf iStick clone and should do 20 watts. Not everyone can switch immediately (many of us didn't) so try not to lose heart. One day at a time, one less smoke a day is a step in the right direction.

Hi mark83, and welcome to the forum. We'll do our best to help you get the best from your kit, and also the best from your wallet!! Where did you buy your vaping gear from? I don't recognise the devices you have from your description - is the battery variable voltage/wattage, and what sort of coils does your tank take? Don't panic if you can't tell me straight away, I'm sure someone will spot them quite soon. peter12's advice is good - you might need to up your nicotine levels until your body adjusts to a new form of nicotine delivery, and you cacn always lower it again in a few weeks time. Update: Is this your battery? And is this your tank? If so, then you should be running this at around 12-14w to get the best from it. Give us some more detail, and we'll see what we can do! In the meantime, persevere and remember all those stinkies you haven't smoked

Yes many I know including my mum use vaping as a substitute so they cut down. Now my mum is almost off the stinks after 40 years and 25 a day. She maybe has 5 or 6 a week the rest of the time is vaping

Ah, well done djs, you beat me to it! Yep, looks like an eLeaf iStick clone - should be a good little bit of kit though!

If you haven't done it already try out some different flavour types, finding flavours i actually liked helped me more than anything else. I started with tobacco flavour juices but none of them were really like smoking and not particularly nice so i would find myself just having a smoke instead but once i found flavours i liked i found i would prefer to vape than smoke.

Welcome to you mark83. Try a higher strength eliquid and save your 18mg for times when you don't feel the need for such a hit. I still have a few bottles of that strength, which I use on occasions.

Thanks guys I did have the bacci flavour to start with but didn't taste like smoking now on cherry I had a go at my mates one with a cloud chaser?? If that's right more of a big hit which I liked just think I've been caught out with money on my kit I can adjust the watts volts upto 23 of that's right and my tank has air flow which to be honest doesn't seem to do much. I've had people say why don't you go for a lung vapor or buy mods etc but wouldn't know we're to start

Right, before you go any further, give us an idea of budget and please don't buy without asking here first. There are a lot of cowboys out there - avoid dBay! - and also some really good ones. We can point you in the right direction so that you get the best kit at the best prices. Your existing kit will always be useful as a backup - and you always need a backup!!

I wouldn't know just don't want to get stung again I thought for £70 would get me a good kit so looking at little bit less round £50/60 maybe keep battery and go for something that gives lots of vapor like cloud chaser or if anyone knows any other good set ups like to feel like I've had a hit if that sound right thanks again

Hiya mark83 and to AAEC. I think you just need a new tank. A nautilus on you battery (mod) would serve you well as a beginner. Others here will direct you to the cheapest/best places to get one.
