Coil winding software

I have seen this  by Luc Bigjohn mentioned elsewhere on the forums.

When I try to download (through links on this forum and from other places on the web)  I get that awful google screen: "We're sorry. You can't access this item because it is in violation of our Terms of Service"

Thought this might be useful for others too if a link that works can be found - the Steam and other calculators seem good, but this one looks as if it gives you piccies rather than just numbers (some of us find this easier!).

I have come across this before in relation to google drive and vaping programmes, though can't remember where, the term that it seems to be violating is that you can't confirm you are over 18...

The Luc Bigjohn coil software is very good.
I used to use it all the time, but I dont have it anymore due to me forgetting to transfer it before wiping my hard-drive a while back.
As you have found, its not easy to locate a downloadable copy. I dont have the link were I got it either, but I do remember going to a lot of places before I got a copy on my desktop.
I did a post here on AAEC last year were I linked were to get it from.
Let me do a forum search and if I find the link Ill Tag you.


beedee your in luck Link to Luc Bigjohn I had linked it in one of my guides from last year. Link is still active, but not tried downloading to see its still working also its the original I think not version 2. Works very well on Kanthal builds dont know if it has Ni built into it.

hijack, that link isn't working for me - could it be that I'm using Chrome? Update - no, I get the same message when downloading using Firefox too

It must be a copyright thing as google knows im over 18 and im signed in.

Thanks, hijack but no luck for me either. I got the same problem in Chrome and Edge, maybe it is a copyright thing - though seems odd that he still has a post up with a link to it.

Will continue looking and post here is I find anything!

I think your right, ibalders Steam Engine more comprehensive. The nice thing about the Luc Bigjohn is you can save the results for comparison.

If you save your Steamengine page as a favourite/bookmark it keeps the settings, I save then in a folder by dragging the icon to the left of the www address into the folder then rename them.
