Mrsmac have you considered the Lemo 2? Just turned the airflow right down on mine to see if it was good for MTL and I can say it definitely is. Nice and easy to build too

drunkenbum I did think about it don't time ago but read that some users found it leaky and that the airflow was wider than the original. Must admit, I do like the fact that the airflow adjuster is on the outside. Maybe one for me to have another look at

It doesn't leak if filled correctly Mrsmac. Just make sure you close the airflow completely when filling and hold the tank horizontal. Not had any leaking from mine. You can turn the airflow down to the tiniest amount. I closed mine up to test before suggesting it and it was like sucking a golf ball through a straw.

Does it have to be one of the new tanks?
The old protank 2/3's are glass. Heads are a doddle to rebuild and perfect for mouth to lung.
I have a Lemo 2 imho it's useless for mouth to lung. I build it at 1.4ohms. If I close the air flow all the way it is far too warm a vape. It only leaks if you over fill it and you learn pretty quickly what's too full and what's not.
Is there any of us local to you that has a lemo maybe that you can try before buying if you're considering one?

Hi Mrsmac. Your post caught my attention, like you i wanted a kayfun style RBA deck and flavour, Glass (contained in a threaded steel sleeve), MTL vape. Whilst i have many different tanks, the only one i have found that ticks all the above boxes is made by Exvape. (only thing to note is it's 23mm Dia. Don't use tube mods, so no prob to me). These have excellent build quality and threading, a pleasure to use. (actually prefere this to my kayfuns ! ) Exvape have just released a new version, so they are selling the older model of cheaper at mo. OK their not quite as cheap as a clone from fasttech etc, but the amount i have spent searching, i could have bought several of these ! They are excellent value for money. Expromizer V1.3 (40 euros) Pyrex Tank+square brushed steel (14 euros) approx £40 Highly recommend Hope this helps

The kayfun v4 can be really good, the one I got from gearbest was the cheapest one on their list and seems to work nice, only thing is to open the base up requires a small vice and a rubber band to separate the section, but to refill and close off the juice it works relatively smooth. I have another one not from gb, cant remember which one but it did leak a bit and seemed the 510 was different, possibly leaked due to wicking though not sure. Also the one by "robottech" was reviewed a while back by Richard NG and said it looked good, I think those are quite cheap now too. Airflow etc seems very similar to the previous kayfun too, just bit fiddly to clean as theyre like 50 parts lol Best way to part the base

I'm back lol. I occasionally get out the protank 2 but the rebuildables have spoilt me for a better saturated vape. The protank 2 with the sealed air flow ring has been my "cant get this sorted" frustration vape, the deck size on rebuilables has spoiled me. I also tried the taifun gt2 but found that no matter what I did it was leaking out of airflow ring, I must have tried different sized coils, amounts of cotton about 10 times! THe expromizer looks interesting, I am definately not snobby against the age or technology and kevbev your decription is exactly what I have been going through over the last few months in my hunt for a kayfun like vape with a glass tank! I am even considering ordering the sov kit from the us but that will cost nearly as much as the kayfun! Will have a look at the expromizer in detail as well, thank you Currently looking on ft for glass tank atomizers and going through the pages

thank you silvasurfa, I did look there but the glass section is out of stock chicken, i may just try that with the kf4 clone as other than that, it is destined for the wall, I cant be bothered with replacing oring section 1,6,8 blah blah lol On a plus note, I ordered a kaytank which uses the sov method of securing the glass to the kayfun. I had it on order for nearly 4 weeks and it has just this moment shipped! will see how that works as well as at least one suggestion from here

Im a new convert to the ego one tanks with the CLR heads. Doddle to rebuild, even simpler than a kanger head. Only con is the silly little windows that arent much cop for seeing how much juice is left. Other than that they are great for wide bore chuffin or a relaxin toot.

Mrsmac Also have couple of gt2's. great tanks but can be awkward to get the wick build just right. Not as forgiving as the kayfun. Have you tried the INTERNAL " S " shape cotton wick build yet in the Taifun GT2. This is the only way i wick the atty now and never leaks or dry hits. Great saturated flavour vape.

No kevbev I spent a day last week on you tube trying to see a good picture of the a build then have up and brought the subtank from a b&m. It generally starts off fine and then after a few pulls you can see it piddling and collecting by the air holes. I so want to like the taifun as you can use it with a glass tank and to me, it reminds me of a massive protank!

I have to say that the Ego One Mega tank is the best tank I have for flavour, I recently got some CLR (rebuildable) heads and they are a doddle to rebuild, I did one at the Vapemeet in Saturday. With the airflow turned right down you can easily MTL. The Subtank is next and the Aspire Triton is last (totally flavourless). And they are CHEAP to buy and rebuild. I'd get some pre-made coild from FT, I'm using nickel ones (8 loop) and they fit fine I'm sure that FT would do some Kanthal higher resistance coils that would be suitable.
