Lately, I've been becoming a bit disillusion with my vaping and I cannot seem to find the answer to my problem.
I am 80% kayfun user but for the other 20% I just can't seem to find the right tank. I am looking for:
A rebuildable, glass tank that you can comfortably mouth to lung on mainly for the sole purpose of any tank cracking juices I may have.
So far, I have tried:
Subtank mini - easy to use and an ok mouth to lung when turned down BUT I find the vale too warm even with a 1.5 ohm coil with the watts turned down Lemo Drop - easy to build BUT the airflow does not turn down enough, I hear people saying you can almost close it off, but mine can't so I find it still too wide open Profane 2/RG400 - a bit more fiddly and I find I get seepage out of the 510, flavour not as good Kayfun 4 clone - how can I put this politely, my copy from Ft one of the first batches is a POS. I had leakage out of the juice control which is now firmly stuck, I never got that to work properly!
Just to note, I like seeing my juice hence the need for glass as well as tank cracking juices, I have tried a kayfun quartz kit which just came apart and purchased a screw chimney kit which doesn't screw together flush.
So, if you've read this far, do I have any options left? What about aspire triton, I have my eye on one in the classiest but after spending a fair bit on this already, don't want to get it and be disappointed again.

I'm not the most knowledgeable person on here but I think what you're looking for is the aspire triton. The rba section is sold separately and I have no idea how easy it is to build but the tank itself is fantastic for mtl. Great flavour, really well built and looks the business

The iSub G may be your saviour Mrsmac, and at about £15 it won't break the bank to try. The heads last forever (well, almost!) and with a good airflow control you should be able to close it almost all the way to give a good tight draw. It has to be worth a try, and at a good price might do what you need. Heads are widely available, and there is no confusing selection to be made. I think I'm right in saying that there are now higher resistance heads available too which might be better for you.

I agree with Perpetua and chykensa the isub g is ine of the best sub ohm tanks i have tried. The other to look at is the uwell crown which is one of the best for flavour.

Just had a look at this tank and on appearances it looks good, I will need to look into whether they can be rebuilt but if the coils do indeed last so long, then maybe it may just work as is. Thing is, I don't have many tank crackers but with all the vape festivals lately I've picked up a few new flavours which have earned their way to a tank lol What is the lowest airflow comparable to please and is it cooler than the sub tank? chykensa and PerpetuaThanks again guys, so it's a not really for the triton then?

For me it just gives a nicer, cleaner vape than they do. I've 2 now - but will more than likely get a third when I next get paid.

That is the only thing missing from the isub the rebuildable deck section although as said the heads last ages and you can replace the cotton easily in them but maybe not so easy to recoil. The uwell crown has a rebuildable deck plus it has ni coils for it if you want to try temp control at some point.

I'm afraid I can't help you there Mrsmac as I must be the only vaper in the country not to own a Subtank! Good link to the higher resistance iSub G coils (incidentally, the iSub with the polycarbonate tank and fixed driptip takes the same heads!).

Thanks guys having a look on the net about the isub, the price seems reasonable too. Thanks for the link of higher ohm coils, going to see if I can track them down in the same place lol

I rebuilt a few I sub coils for @19steve57 recently around the 2 ohm mark. I'm yet to hear back how he's getting on with them.
I'm not convinced the Isub would make a great mtl tank. You can shut the airflow right down but the vape seems to get a fair bit warmer when you do that. Maybe with the higher ohm coil combined with low watts and low airflow... I'm not sure as that's not how I've used it.

The kayfun v4 can be really good, the one I got from gearbest was the cheapest one on their list and seems to work nice, only thing is to open the base up requires a small vice and a rubber band to separate the section, but to refill and close off the juice it works relatively smooth. I have another one not from gb, cant remember which one but it did leak a bit and seemed the 510 was different, possibly leaked due to wicking though not sure. Also the one by "robottech" was reviewed a while back by Richard NG and said it looked good, I think those are quite cheap now too. Airflow etc seems very similar to the previous kayfun too, just bit fiddly to clean as theyre like 50 parts lol
